Great place, fast and easy check-in. The sauna is definitely a highlight and the beds are also very comfortable to sleep in. However, in my opinion, there is no Wi-Fi. Especially if you're there for a week like us, you need Internet 🛜 Otherwise, everything was really great 🥰

If you're thinking about visiting Ivalo, this house is the best option. The location is excellent, just a very short distance from downtown for shopping. It's very quiet, the heating works great, it has a sauna that works very well, and the house has all the amenities you see in the photos. I traveled with my partner and we were both delighted. Niklas as a host was fantastic—he always responded to all our messages, was constantly attentive to our needs, and provided us with plenty of information about the city and its surroundings; he even took us on a night excursion to see the auroras! Totally recommended.

Beautiful and very cozy apartment. The communication with Pirko went really well and Pirkko was very friendly. Comfortable beds ensured a successful rest for the next day.

Great & dear host, very fast response time. The house is super big. Great starting point for northern lights, we also saw some directly above the house. It is best to take a car or note that not so many buses run.

We stayed at the property for a week and felt very much at home. Everything you could possibly need is there, the descriptions were great and you can actually reach everything with a nice walk. Near the property, there are many activities you can do, otherwise you can relax in front of the fireplace or in the sauna. We would always come back! :-)

Host gave detailed instructions for check in and was responsive to messages. The apartment is located just a short 1-2 minute drive away from the supermarket. House is cosy and there is an indoor sauna and outdoor tub available for use. Thank you Marita for the nice cosy place ◡̈

Suvi's property is ideal both for families or small groups of friends travelling together. The large and modern living room overlooking the woods is the highlight; we visited in the winter and wished the weather was poor to have an excuse and stay indoors. The property offers great privacy and sits in a tranquil side road with lots of space, though it's just a stone's throw from the lake and under five minutes from the nearest cafes, restaurants, the shopping centre and the other amenities. Suvi's been very responsive. Upon check-in we found the house beyond clean. Would love to return and definitely recommend.

We stayed at Iras place for one week and we loved every second of it! We were surrounded by beautiful nature and could really calm down there! We totally can recommend staying there :)

Great apartment, wonderful location. Everything you need within walking distance. Really cozy. The only complaint is the high cleaning fee that must be paid. Especially because you are also asked to remove the bedding. We did it, but in our opinion, the fees would already be inside, not having to do it. But all in all, we felt very comfortable. So would still come again! :)

The apartment was in a great location. Restaurants and ski trails were found right next door. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Virgine responded quickly to messages and made sure everything went smoothly. He gave us some great tips about activities and restaurants.

We felt very comfortable from the beginning. Petteri has been helpful from the moment of our booking and it was very easy to get in touch with him. Excursions could also be booked through him before the start of the trip and we were able to start the trip with a good feeling. The vacation itself was a dream and the place exactly as in the photos. Petteri has made a great effort to give us a unique vacation and is a very accommodating and friendly host. Good instructions and clear communication. The location was good, the apartment was very clean and there was a good store right next door.

Petri's apartment was very comfortable. The equipment of the kitchen as well as the rest of the apartment was also very good. The center as well as many restaurants is in walking distance. Many winter activities (cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, ski-Doo) were also very quick to reach.

The apartment was perfect - high quality finishes and modern throughout, comfortable, functional, spacious. Great location - right in the middle of everything key, 3 mins walk to supermarket and other stores. Minna was such a fantastic host - she has very kindly advised us exactly what to expect at the time of year when we were visiting (off-season / most places shut) and what to do. We have received photos from Minna’s friends showing us the weather and clear and detailed descriptions of what to expect and how to prepare / what clothes to bring and how best to organise ourselves. It was so helpful and the loveliest and most caring experience I’ve had over the years on Airbnb. The sauna was a great touch and there is everything you need in the kitchen. Everything about our stay was super easy and we are thinking of coming back in winter and hopefully staying with Minna again!

A fantastic, fully equipped property in a magical forest location. The kitchen and all the utensils contained in it offer the possibility of a fully independent self-catering, the bedroom as well as the beds are cozy, the indoor sauna provides limitless relaxation and washing machine as well as dryers allow textile care if you return home after challenging hikes or sports activities. Päivi is also a host as a guest could ask for: infinitely lovable and friendly, always good to reach and charming in communication. We therefore lacked nothing during our stay and we would be happy to be Päivi's guests again at any time and recommend Päivi's cottage without reservation. Great location, and little noise. Great common room!

Modern, clean apartment in a great location overlooking Vadso Harbour, with views of the Hurtigruten ferry stopping by every morning. As birders, we particularly enjoyed looking out of the windows and seeing sea ducks - including Common and King Eider and Long-Tailed Duck - at close range in the harbour. It's possible to book a floating photographic hide in the harbour, just a short walk away, if you want even closer views of the birds. The accommodation is well located for exploring different areas of Varanger including searching for the aurora.

Clean and nice apartment with a good location in relation to the city center, which is about a 10 min walk. Large nice kitchen for cooking. Good beds :)
