The Maruna House is operated by the Maruna Group, which operates two restaurants. The entire house is for rent. Not only the building, but almost all the furniture and appliances are brand new. Free parking for 8 cars. It is a private building, so you can enter and exit without seeing anyone. There is a washing machine. Longer stays are also possible. There is no trouble eating because the restaurant and accommodation are next to each other. How about soup curry for lunch and Genghis Khan for dinner? The bath is equipped with a device called enzyme bubble bath, which has a skin-beautifying effect. In addition, it is equipped with ceiling bath audio, so you can take a bath while listening to pleasant music that envelops your body. The beds are four Simmons semi-double beds. It can accommodate up to 8 people. Pajamas, a full set of amenities, towels, bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc., everything you need for your stay is provided. This is a renovated 120-year-old private house built in the traditional streets (Yamamachi-suji) of Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.Located about a 10-minute walk from Takaoka Station, with good transport links to Toyama, Kanazawa, the Amaharu Coast, Himi, Tonami, and Shiroishi.If you have a car, you can also easily access Noto, the World Heritage Sites of Gokayama and Shirakawa-go, the Kurobe Tateyama Alpine Route, and sightseeing in Takayama. It is not only located in Yamaichisuji, but can also be used as a base for sightseeing in Takaoka, such as the foundry town of Kanyamachi (10-minute walk), Takaoka Great Buddha (10-minute walk), Takaoka Castle Ruins (15-minute walk), and the national treasure Zuiyuji Temple (25-minute walk). The house is surrounded by my favorite garden flowers and is full of greenery. There are many tall trees around that are 300-400 years old, covered in greenery, and birds chirping at any time are singing. The interior is beautifully finished with favorite accessories, antique stands, retro music boxes, furniture, etc. The room is created with large glass windows, and the surrounding greenery and sky are very beautiful and full of openness. The bus from Toyama Station is 15 minutes. The house is 5-6 minutes from Toyama IC by car, and there are many restaurants along the road. You can get to Toyama Station in 15 minutes to the north and Takayama in 90 minutes to the south on National Route 41. Toyama Airport is 3 km from the house and can be reached in 5 minutes.

From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance. Located in the Kazuemachi Chaya district, which is designated as a national Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Built in 1898, this Machiya house retains its quaintness and is decorated in a modern style, mixing interiors from various nationalities and eras. "Kazuemachi" is a quiet town, not crowded with tourists. Please relax in the calming atmosphere of the traditional Japanese room, unwind in the authentic ‘hinoki’ wood bathtub made of fragrant cypress.
