But we cherished the plus. We added it to a 72 m2 villa. Make the kitchen stylish. The contrast with the vintage furniture makes the whole thing a little more modern. I lined up a collection of vintage mirrors in the bathroom. The two modern Japanese bedrooms have mosquito nets hung to deepen your sleep in the highlands. Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
