Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Iitti

Wow, what a beautiful location. And such a lovely house. There was a an original sauna on the lake which allowed us a true Finnish experience. Elina was the perfect host. She was always responsive and keen to ensure we had a great time. Anyone booking this place will not be disappointed. We will be returning- maybe when there is snow on the ground. Thank you very much.

Sopi hyvin kahden lapsiperheen majoittumiseen. Kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi, sopi juuri hyvin meidän tarpeeseemme.

Kohteessa oli todella puhdasta

We stayed at the house for 2 nights. A gorgeous place. So much room for everyone. The second evening the downstairs bathroom started overflowing. At least we noticed in time and immediately texted the host and we got an answer right away. We were smart enough to turn off the water for the whole house. A very nice man (that had dropped off some grilling supplies before), came and knew right away what was the problem. He explained that the toilet tank outside (septic tank) was full and needed to be cleaned out. He called the company and in 30 minutes the truck was outside. The man helped us turn the water back on. He was very sorry about the whole situation and offered us a late check out and free cleaning. Our friend group really enjoyed the stay and it is truly a beautiful place to stay at, we made life long memories there.

Overall every good experience staying here. Beautiful and stunning views of the lake and trees x. The sauna is also very good. But watch out if you park your cars at the yard, there are trees and rocks you need to pay attention to.

The house is very pleasant to live in, spacious, and very bright. The surroundings are magnificent for walking, along the lake and in the forest.

Tässä kohteessa kaikki hyvin! Siistiä, kotoisaa, kohteen kuvaus piti täysin paikkaansa. Majoittajan kanssa oli helppoa ja nopeaa viestiä. Tullaan ehdottomasti uudelleen, ihana Mummola!

Tuttu kohde viime vuodelta. Kaikki edelleen kohdallaan, hyvä sijainti.

Kiva valoisa huoneisto. Kaikki tarpeellinen. Hyvät verhot ja ikkunan sai pidettyä auki koko yön kun verho suojasi ötököiltä. Kaikki toimi.

Vielen Dank an Anne-Mari für die Gastfreundschaft! Die Wohnung ist komfortabel, toll ausgestattet und blitzsauber. Aus dem Küchenfenster kann man die Skisprungschanze sehen. Wir waren bei den Lahti ski games. Die Veranstaltung war fußläufig in 5 min erreichbar. Supermarkt und Innenstadt ist auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung wie zuhause gefühlt. Besonders die Sauna haben wir sehr genossen! Vielen Dank für alles!

What a little gem of a place, a 10-minute drive from Kouvola. Very cozy and clean, well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The sauna is a great bonus. Exactly as described, a super convenient and clean spot walking distance from a few supermarkets, pubs, and a pharmacy. Peaceful place, slept really well despite the adjacent train tracks. Loved the wood finish and the whole look of the place.

We stayed at Joni’s place for a weekend during a music festival. The apartment worked well for us even though we were 4 people and the apartment is quite small (which was clearly communicated to us) Overall a great place to stay in the centre of Strömfors Iron works. Joni was a great host, and all communication worked well with him. The apartment matched the description and there was all the necessary amenities!

Amazing new host who was ready and willing to extra mile for visitor comfort. Nothing to complain, sauna was also great! I strongly recommend this for 4-5 person group

Kohde oli viihtyisä ja kivalla paikalla. Näytti todellisuudessa vielä mukavammalta, kuin kuvissa. Saunassa oli ihanat, lempeät löylyt. Yksityiskohdat mietitty toimiviksi ja kaikkialla oli siistiä ja kivoja yksityiskohtia. Meidät otettiin lämpimästi vastaan. Plussaa lasten leluista ja hienosta grillimajasta uusine grilleineen.

We had a lovely 3 day stay here and just didn’t want to leave,it was so calm and peaceful, gave us time to relax and recharge and enjoy each others company after a busy few days around Helsinki. The days just flew by with kayaking, rowing, sauna, dips in the lake and BBQ’s etc, we loved the rustic charm of the cabin and facilities and never got board of the amazing Lakeland view.

Das Häuschen ist wunderschön ruhig gelegen mit privatem Zugang zu einem kleinen See. Der Garten lädt mit seinen vielen verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten und Liegen zum entspannen ein, der Bootssteg ist ideal für das morgendliche Yoga. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass es keine richtige Dusche gibt. Man kann sich aber wunderbar mit vom Ofen erhitzten Wasser in der Sauna waschen. Toll ist die wirklich gut ausgestattete Küche. Pfannen und Messer sind in einem super Zustand. Außerdem gibt es viele Gewürze und verschiedene Küchengeräte. Jaana war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit im schriftlichen Kontakt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder in dieses Idyll!

Great cottage by the lake, private, beautiful, awesome location. Private access to the lake. All ammendities on good condition, matches the description. Really beautiful sunsets

Wir hatten eine ruhige und entspannte Zeit im Haus. Leider hatten wir mit unseren Reisedatum etwas Pech, da es kurz bevor wir angereist sind stark getaut hat und im Anschluss wieder gefroren ist. Das Ergebnis war eine recht Anspruchvolle Anfahrt über stark vereiste Waldwege. Mit Allrad kein Problem und vor Ort konnte man sich mit Spikes gut behelfen. Aber man überlegt schon 2. mal ob man mit dem Auto einkaufen fahren muss oder nicht. Nach dem es wieder geschneit hatte war das dann kein Thema mehr, wohl gemerkt mit Allrad ! Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen direkt am See, wenn man eine Auszeit vom Alltag und Erholung sucht kann ich den Winter als Reisezeit nur empfehlen. Wir haben die Kalten Tage für die Sauna genutzt und ein paar Ausflüge auf die wunderschöne zugefrorene Seenlandschaft unternommen. Sanna war immer gut erreichbar und hat uns mit Infos zu Lage und allen Drumherum gut versorgt 👍 Ausstattungsmässig hat uns nichts gefehlt und wir könnten uns vorstellen wieder zu kommen 👋👋👋

Le chalet de Mikko & Pekka est un endroit extrêmement paisible et agréable à vivre. La vue sur la rivière & la forêt environnante offrent un cadre de vie paradisiaque tout en étant à proximité de toutes les commodités. Nous avons adoré le sauna et la véranda. J’espère que nous aurons l’occasion de revenir en hiver !

Kohteessa oli helppo viettää muutama päivä rentoutuen. Vieressä olevassa metsikössä meni muutama polku, joita myöten pystyi koirien kanssa kivasti kulkemaan. Kaikki pelitti hyvin ja Sanna vastasi heti jos oli joku ihmeteltävä seikka mielessä!
