We really enjoyed our stay at Gabriele's apartment on Isola Maggiore. A wonderful combination of a great location and the host's generosity. We are glad that Gabriele's option was chosen for the inspection of the island and the surroundings of Lake Trasimeno - an unforgettable experience of the evenings, when the day tourists leave.

Excellent structure and value - more than honest price. Located in a quiet location with services at your fingertips (as long as you have a car of course). Very well-kept outdoor space (unlike that of the neighbor in poor condition) and house provided a little bit of everything, including cleaning products which in my opinion is always a sign of great civilization. The only advice to be a top facility in my humble opinion, is to pay more attention (already good to be honest) to details and maintenance. For example, we had to battle a bit with the ants that still entered despite the preventive measures.

A Beautiful Original Villa

We really enjoyed our one week family holiday staying in this villa. The house, garden and pool are as described and absolutely gorgeous! The weather was extremely hot so we particularly appreciated the beautiful pool as well as the possibility to eat outside in the well shaded area overlooking the pool. Also, there is a plentiful supply of tableware for outdoor use which is very practical. The location was ideal for visiting destinations such as Assisi and Montepulciano, but it was also great just taking it easy and enjoying the garden, pool and views. The villa is 10 mins by car from CDL although the last part is on unmade roads which can be quite bumpy. We found Google Maps worked best for navigating to/from the villa but led us astray on occasions - Beware! Alessandra was a great host. She was there to welcome us on arrival and explain everything we needed to know. Throughout our stay she was very responsive to our questions and recommendation requests. We recommend this villa!

Jessica and her sister Roberta were helpful, kind and always willing to help us and support us both for advice on the surroundings and on the most convenient time for us. We spent a week in Massimo's apartment in Castiglione del Lago and we had a really great time (we are a family of 4 people with two children aged 11 and 4). The apartment is spacious and clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We really enjoyed the pool, clean and suitable for children too. The apartment is a 5-minute drive from the center of Castilgione del Lago, a beautiful typical and well-kept village and close to Lake Trasimeno. There are also two convenient supermarkets nearby for shopping. For a last-minute inconvenience, we could not rent a car and Massimo was very kind to help us and offer us passes in the car in the moment of need. We highly recommend Massimo's apartment and we especially appreciated his kindness and friendliness. Thank you!
