There will be sheep, chicken, cats and dogs around and next to the house there is a beautiful old church:)

The street of the house is called Lindarvegur and is located in the top district of Hvammstangi, n.t. on top of the hill where you drive up to Church. So it offers a great view of the village and onto the fjord. It's a very short walk to a beautiful outdoor area in Kirkjvammammi and many exciting hiking trails, such as a footpath that runs along the river, located just south of the house.

Eyri seaside houses is a cozy, warm and brand new guesthouse with a great ocean view, located on our small horse farm. We are located at Hvammstangi but still super private and the only thing you see from the apartments are the ocean and landscape. There are a lot of birds at the beach and there is even a chance that you will see some seals. Every now and then we get some whales in the fjord but it has to be your lucky day to see them.

Beautiful guest house! Nicest place we’ve stayed in Iceland. Fantastic hosts, everything is pristine, cozy, with all sorts of games, books and special touches such as waffle batter for each group of guests!! Family friendly with kids toys, high chair etc. and wonderful deck and yard with a lovely hot tub and sauna!!

The accommodation is very quietly located overlooking the lake. The approach is via a gravel road but easy to reach. Our room had a private bathroom and was very clean and tidy. Check-in was super relaxed and we were shown everything in person. From the room, there was also a beautiful view of the lake.

Although we didn't meet Inga (Host) in person, the host was very kind and allowed for flexible check in when we were caught in a snowstorm. We stayed in 3rd floor in which you can here the strong winds (during the storm) compared if you stayed in 2nd floor. Big dining room and clean kitchen.

This was incredibly convenient for its location on the golden circle, close to both Geysir and Gulfoss. We only stayed for a quick overnight, and the space served the three of us well. We never had a problem with access to the bathrooms, though perhaps they weren’t fully booked that night either.
