Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hvalstad

Vi hadde et veldig flott opphold i Rødtangen. Vi bodde i fire uker i det nydelige lille huset med en stor terrasse og en vakker utsikt på fjorden. Mette og Mike er snille mennesker. De er lett å kommunisere med. Alt er godt ordnet. Vi kan anbefale det. Hilsen Peter og Mieke

Location location location... I wanted to stay in Sandvika, because my mother lived there for 20 years, so I am very familiar with the area and it feels like home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and feels very private, yet is centrally located, and easy to walk around the area for hiking, shopping, bus/train transfers, and easy to use trains and bus to connect to anywhere quickly. We had everything we needed, and were comfy and cozy and made ourselves at home. Very comfy beds. As described, the sleeping loft has a low ceiling. My daughter is not very tall and is young and limber, and was quite happy up there, but you probably don't want someone too tall up there. Host is very responsive and clearly communicates. They live in the house next to the rental, but we never saw them in over a week, so the rental is very private. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely sunsets from the deck.

We had a lovely stay at Svenn’s Airbnb. The apartment was clean and very well decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped. Ideal place for 2-3 people to stay, with a massive table which could host even more! Svelvik was a good place to explore southern Norway from- would recommend the walks from Spiralen and Drammen Sauna. We also walked up to Damvann lake from the apartment which was very beautiful and peaceful!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Haus von Therese. Das Haus liegt in schöner Landschaft direkt am Fjord. Es war toll, an den sonnigen Wintertagen die Kite Skater auf dem zugefrorenen Fjord zu beobachten. Therese hat sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert und war super hilfsbereit. Man muss beachten, dass es im Haus eine sehr steile Treppe gibt. Für manche Personen könnte das ein Hindernis sein. Bei uns hat alles gut geklappt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abends haben wir vom nahegelegenen Thai Restaurant leckeres Essen geholt. Die Bus- (Haltestelle direkt am Haus) und Zugverbindungen (von Røyken) nach Oslo sind sehr gut. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich bedanken bei Therese, die immer bemüht war, uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen und uns sehr geholfen hat. Ich kann den Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll gestalteten, kleinen roten Haus sehr empfehlen. Es ist etwas ganz besonderes!

Veldig koselig hus, godt med plass men likevel intimt. Fjordutsikt til frokost var herlig! fine gater å gå i. Jeanette var perfekt vertskap. Kjøkken med det man trenger. Fint moderne bad. vi tar turen igjen ☺️

Die Unterkunft von Henrik & Anders ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Wunderschön und ruhig in der Natur gelegen und innen einfach nur ein Traum. Henrik und Anders sind außerdem sehr tolle Gastgeber, stets hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Wir haben kurzfristig eine Nacht verlängert, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Am liebsten wären wir noch viel länger geblieben. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung

What a great experience! This place was so unique, incredibly clean, comfortable, and had such a great view! Morten is an AMAZING host - the best we've ever had. He is very quick and helpful with all communication and very generous with his time to make sure you have an excellent stay. We had a sunny day during our visit, so we opened up the kitchen doors all the way. It was amazing to have fresh air all throughout. We just hung out there until the sun went down, it was so beautiful. One caution for anyone that has trouble with stairs - There is one flight of stairs from the garage to a landing (where the gym is located). Then a second flight of stairs to the main level (which has the front door, kitchen, living room, a full bathroom and the outdoor terrace area). Then a third flight of stairs to the bedroom level (which has two bedrooms and a full bathroom). Then a fourth flight of stairs that turns a bit (somewhat like a spiral staircase) to the loft. GREAT place/host!

Endroit extrêmement paisible ou une biche est venue dans le jardin. Vue spectaculaire du Fjord. Vaisselle en quantité limitée...

Trevligt bemötande och snabba svar på mina meddelanden. Boendet ligger bra med gångavstånd från tågstation och Ski centrum. Alldeles i närheten finns en närbutik. Jag gillade att boendet är en egen lägenhet. Hit kommer jag att återkomma till!

Mycket trivsamt, välstädat, centralt boende i Stabekk. Motsvarade de förväntningar vi hade efter annons och kontakt med värdparet. De svarade snabbt på våra frågor. Kommer gärna tillbaka!

Hadde en meget hyggelig periode her i en lun hyggelig studioleilighet. Føltes både nært sentrum og nært marka. Meget hyggelig vertskap som var raskt ute om jeg spurte om noe, positive, hyggelige, gode mennesker. Tunet på en vinterdag føltes som Bakkebygrenda☺️

Anbefales alle. En koselig, romslig leilighet med fleksibel og hyggelig vert. Morgenkaffen kan en ta i en liten sittegruppe på utsiden av huset med morgensol og utsikt over velstelt hage. Gode turmuligheter fra leiligheten.

The apartment is spacious and well equipped with everything you need. It's in a very pleasant and peaceful area, conveniently located for the train or bus to Oslo and there is private parking. Everything was as described. Communication with the host was excellent and the self check-in straightforward. I highly recommend this place.

Maria's home was a highlight in our Oslo trip, I don't think we could have found a better place to enjoy and explore our time in the city. The home is spotless, quiet, very comfortable, stylish, and comes with a million dollar view of the city. We enjoyed the outdoor space and watching the sunsets and the view of the water. The hosts were incredibly responsive, warm, and welcoming- they provided such detailed information that we greatly appreciated. We hope to be lucky enough to return and stay again one day.

Vedran’s place was exactly as described, very comfortable, with all the necessities. It’s situated in a lovely area of Oslo, very walkable to some of the major places we had hoped to visit and had great restaurants just metres away. We also were so pleased with the transit system - all transport was very accessible, which made getting around Oslo a pleasure to navigate! Most importantly, Vedran was very responsive and helpful in communicating and providing directions. A great stay, we would come here again.

We stayed in Liv Elin flat for a week in December/January. The location is great, the train is next to the building so it's easy to go directly to Oslo or elsewhere. The view from the flat is amazing. The neighborhood is peacefull and beautiful. Everything was just as listed on the description. A cosy place with everything you need. It was just a bit cold in the rooms so extra or warmer blankets could be nice during winter for guests. Otherwise everything was great so I highly recommend this place if you plan to come in Oslo 🙂

Fantastisk leilighet og fantastisk utsikt. Enkel og rask kommunikasjon, veldig fleksibel siden jeg trengte å utvide oppholdet med ett døgn. Rent overalt, deilig sengetøy og et luksusbad! En virkelig god opplevelse! Takk til verten.

The apartment was has described and the host very friendly. That area of the city is quiet and has a lot of interesting things to do where you can go by foot.
