Access to private toilet, outdoor shower, BBQ, outdoor fireplace & outdoor kitchen. The cabin is located right next to Haugetjern Nature Reserve and Ytre Hvaler National Park. From here there are good opportunities for outdoor activities such as swimming or paddling in nearby fjord waters, hiking and cycling. Possibility to rent a SUP, kayak and bicycle. Approx. 20 min by car to Fredrikstad city center and Skjærhalden

The cabin is beautifully located on a hill overlooking Skjærhaldens marina, skipper's house and the sea. Comfortable armchairs and evening meals with shimmering lanterns await you in this cottage idyll. Indoor evenings on soft sofa cushions invite you to fireplace and board games. Or sit at the dining table with a good cup and look at the lights from the harbor. The plot is large and undisturbed with barely visible neighboring cabins. For the children, the plot is a safe playground with fun climbing trees and mountain knolls to jump around on.

Hiking and fishing in the immediate vicinity. Spacious living room with open kitchen solution. Well-equipped kitchen. Sofa group and dining area for 8 people inside and outside (+ triple staircase). Nice patio with barbecue, fire pit - amazing view! Three bedrooms with double beds. One small mattress and two large mattresses + extra mattresses. Wi-Fi and TV in two bedrooms.

Family-friendly cabin on idyllic Hvaler

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. For your information, we have completely renovated the cabin in 2023. This means that the outdoor images that appear on the page may bear the mark of a slightly unfinished finish. There is a short distance to the beach, nice hiking areas (Helleskilen, Storesand, Ed etc.). Skjærhalden city center is 3 km away. Here you will find shops, restaurants and the possibility to rent bicycles and a sauna, among other things. There is a direct ferry to Strømstad (60 min).

Cozy cabin for family at Skjærhalden

Cozy cabin located at the innermost part of Kjølholtfeltet, a quiet and family friendly cabin area at Skjærhalden. Perfect for families with children, as it is only a short walk right down to the town beach at Skjærhalden. The cabin is very practical and everything is easily accessible, both for use and for washing. This is not a cabin for partying and is not rented to young people. No animals in the cabin, and no smoking indoors. It is NOT allowed to charge the car at the cabin, as fuses are not dimensioned for it.

Cottage by the sea with a large dock

The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.

The cabin is tastefully decorated and totally renovated recently. Sun all day, lake view, large terrace, dishwasher, washing machine, shower, free WiFi, office space and TV. The plot is relatively flat and child-friendly. Nice hiking opportunities on Papper, sea idyll, untouched nature and sunny Svaberg. 6 min to bathing places. Sleeps approx. 6 people. Free parking is 300 meters / 984 ft away, but it is possible to drive 100 meters / 328 ft from the cabin with luggage.

Cozy family cabin

The cabin is peacefully located on Vellebufjellet on Vesterøy. 5 minutes to walk to the nearest beach m. The beach is shallow and very suitable for small children. Fantastic hiking areas in the immediate area. walk to Kuvauen, Guttormsvauen, Papperhavn. The cabin has nice grounds with a garden and forest around. Borrow hammocks, kayaks and paddleboards. Very suitable for a family with children. We use the cabin quite a bit ourselves. Rents on request from May-October.

En veldig hyggelig og fin hytte. Flott utsikt med terrasse på 3 sider. Solrikt hele dagen. Parkering 50 m unna. Ca 500 m til havet. Innlagt drikkevann og avløp. WC. Peis både ute og inne. Det kan bo inntil 8 personer på hytta. Fullt utstyrt. Du må ta med egne hånklær og sengetøy. Dyner og puter finnes der. Det er lekeområde rett nedenfor hytta. Der er det Petanqe, Tennis (liten), Bordtennis, Basketkurv, Volleballnett, Sjakk

Very sunny with grassy slopes in front of and behind the cabin, which also has large and partially covered terraces. 5 acres of land, private jetty, boat can be rented. The cabin is located approx. 300 m from the parking lot. Reserved free parking for 2 cars.
