Enjoy a peaceful stay in this unique cottage on Hvaler. The small cabin is rural and simply furnished, with a kitchen area and sleeping area. Access to private toilet, outdoor shower, BBQ, outdoor fireplace & outdoor kitchen. The cabin is located right next to Haugetjern Nature Reserve and Ytre Hvaler National Park. From here there are good opportunities for outdoor activities such as swimming or paddling in nearby fjord waters, hiking and cycling. Possibility to rent a SUP, kayak and bicycle. Approx. 20 min by car to Fredrikstad city center and Skjærhalden

Cabin & annex. It is a 3-minute walk to the water, with excellent swimming conditions from the beach, pier, and rocky shore. The cabin has lovely views of Brattestø, Heia, and Tre-sten Lighthouse, while at the same time you are close to the bustling boating activity in Asmalsundet. It is a 10-minute walk to Sand Brygge, which has an outdoor restaurant and an ice cream stand. The cabin has two bedrooms with double beds, as well as a double sofa bed in the main house. Bedroom 3 is in the annex. Two bedrooms can accommodate a crib/extra mattresses on the floor.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. For your information, we have completely renovated the cabin in 2023. This means that the outdoor images that appear on the page may bear the mark of a slightly unfinished finish. There is a short distance to the beach, nice hiking areas (Helleskilen, Storesand, Ed etc.). Skjærhalden city center is 3 km away. Here you will find shops, restaurants and the possibility to rent bicycles and a sauna, among other things. There is a direct ferry to Strømstad (60 min).

Idyllic family cabin with lake view and possibilities for boat. Completely undisturbed cabin with lake view on top of a knoll - pine knoll. There is sun from morning to evening on two terraces. - Sleeps 10 (5 bedrooms incl. the living room in the annex), and with possibilities for 3 beds on a loft. - there is running water, bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine with drying function. - Space for 2-3 cars in a private parking space. - Boat (14 ft with 15 hp engine) can be included by agreement.

Newly renovated cabin on beautiful Hvaler! The cabin has 5 compact bedrooms, a large covered terrace and a fantastic 180° lake view. With running water, dishwasher and washing machine, heated toilet room and outdoor shower with hot water, you have everything you need. A small sandy beach is only 150 m away and parking is available 100 m from the cabin. Amazing hiking areas right outside the door. Bus to Fredrikstad and Oslo is 10 minutes walk away. Perfect cabin to enjoy nice days by the sea!

Sunny family cabin on Hvaler

Cozy cabin on Kirkøy for rent. 100 meters to the lake, beach and Svaberg. Child-friendly cabin area, common playground, football field and bathing jetty. The cabin is in a cozy location with a lake access. The cabin was renovated and expanded in 2016, and a new bathroom with running water and sewage was installed in 2019. It has 3 bedrooms. Parking 5 minutes away from the cabin, 1 parking space. Small dinghy can be rented if needed and by agreement. We have an open kayak that can be used freely.

Cottage by the sea with a large dock

The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.

The cabin is peacefully located on Vellebufjellet on Vesterøy. 5 minutes to walk to the nearest beach m. The beach is shallow and very suitable for small children. Fantastic hiking areas in the immediate area. walk to Kuvauen, Guttormsvauen, Papperhavn. The cabin has nice grounds with a garden and forest around. Borrow hammocks, kayaks and paddleboards. Very suitable for a family with children. We use the cabin quite a bit ourselves. Rents on request from May-October.
