Historic miners home built in 1915. 3 Bedroom, 1 bath plus extra toilet and shower! Queen, Full size, and twin in the bedrooms. New renovated bathroom. Desk space for work from “home”, 2-person electric heated sauna with shower. Ping pong table. Relaxing front porch. Nice back yard with gas BBQ grill. Quiet neighborhood. Walk to town , ski trail, and mountain bike. Convenient to all local skiing and any silent sport. No air conditioning. Sorry no pets, and no holding events/parties.

We have had many guests visit the sea caves in Cornucopia, spend the day in Bayfield, or hike the Porcupine Mountains. We also are only a few miles from the ATV trails if you would rather spend the day riding the trails. We have multiple places to mountain bike or kayak. Great launching point for any local activity. Nordic ski trails less then 4 miles away; downhill skiing, snowshoeing, road and mountain biking, kayaking and hiking are all very close by. This cozy cottage is such a nice stay! It is in a great neighborhood, and the neighbors are so kind and friendly and helped us shovel the driveway when we had snow during our trip. The house was so clean and cozy and had everything we needed- coffee, games, books, a snow shovel, Tupperware, plastic wrap, and even candy bowls. We felt right at home and will definitely be back!

I had a great stay at Scott’s place. He was a responsive and helpful host, providing clear, easy-to-follow instructions throughout. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough to accommodate six family members and me without any issues. All the bedrooms were cozy and well-maintained. Just a heads-up: there’s only one full bathroom, and the second has a tub but no full shower, not a problem for us, but something to keep in mind. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials. One note for future guests - consider confirming with Scott whether the cleaning fee covers a certain number of guests. I was asked to leave a tip for the cleaning staff, which wasn’t included in the Airbnb fees. Overall, a solid and enjoyable stay. I’d recommend this place to others.

Hannah’s place was gorgeous, comfortable, functional and clean. The location was amazing for nature lovers although we were just as happy relaxing at the house! I definitely plan to return in the future because we had such a great experience.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here! We had plenty of room for 7 adults, 2 dogs, and 5 children 6 years and younger to relax and play. The house itself was unique, large, yet cozy. The amenities were useful and allowed us to spend less time at the store and more time with one another. We would definitely stay here again if we ever plan another visit to the porkies!

The home was decorated nicely, plenty of kitchen pots, pans, and utensils to make a couple of nice meals. Very clean. Beds were comfortable! Plenty of towels and wash clothes. The bottled water in the fridge was very nice. Appreciated the flexibility of a little later check out. Would definitely stay again.

Tom was a great host! I sent him a couple of messages to which he responded right away. I would recommend staying here if you want to fish the surrounding lakes, hike, see the waterfalls, or enjoy the nearby overlooks. The house is clean and has all the amenities of home.
