We had a lovely weekend at Carla's - the location was amazing, set in lovely Devon countryside, the local pub The Staple Cross Inn served up really lovely freshly made food and the locals were a delight. The accommodation was well equipped, the shower absolutely rejuvenating !! Carla provided us with all the details we required, a really pleasant place to stay, we would highly recommend. Beautiful setting, remote and good amenities. All details are clearly listed ahead of time which helps to know what is available and what should be brought along for the stay.

We had an amazing stay for 3 nights at the Granary with our kids. We got a warm welcome from the lovely cat couscous! The place was clean, spacious, tidy and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. There were enough of board games, books and toys as well as outdoor space to keep the kids entertained. The hosts Karl and Helena were very friendly and helpful. Their son was also very kind and friendly with our kids, even sharing some of his stuff to play. This quiet location was ideal for us to explore north Devon and the Exmoor areas. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, highly recommended.

Great spot,loved the hot tub and the thoughtful touches. Very peaceful area. Worth noting for those with mobility issues that parking is down a farm track and you can’t park near the Shepards hut so need to get a lift with Karen/carry luggage and food up the track if she’s not available.
