Also the fireplace. we came to do some hikes and in the end decided to stay a whole day in the cottage, because it was so great.

Luxury Riverside Cottage with Hot Tub

TiffanyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place is amazing. Great location to travel around the highlands. Every drive is more beautiful than the last. The donkeys are the sweetest and the cows are so nice to hear and very curious. The little produce stand had eggs and potatoes to purchase which was great for breakfast before adventuring out. Nice walk into town to the pub and deli, even got to meet Percy the local peacock. Everyone is so very friendly. Robert shared local spots and even where to visit the hairy coos nearby. I am glad we booked this little oasis before the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Gorgeous Rosemarkie Cottage

AlanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house was wonderful - we were delighted with both the location and with the property. The house was immaculate, and beautifully furnished with some really lovely pictures and objects throughout. The rooms were all good-sized and bright with the kitchen/dining area overlooking the garden a real standout. It was very well maintained and it felt like a proper home from home. The location was really lovely too - nice and quiet with a very short walk to the beach. We particularly enjoyed our walks around the area and along to Chanonry Point to look for the dolphins. A local pub and a lovely restaurant were close by too which was a bonus! Our host, Eva, provided us with clear and concise information prior to our arrival and messaged us a couple of times during our stay to make sure that all was in order. This was very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend the property to others, and we certainly plan to visit again!

Capo Farmhouse - dog friendly. Hot tub & fire pit

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed a lovely stay at the house. Beautiful and serene surroundings. Was a great place to relax and unwind… Great day trips nearby. Would recommend you bring in all your provisions at the start of your stay and kitchen is fully equipped. Caroline was easy to contact and fast to respond. We chose to use the hot tub which was ready for us when we arrived and easy to operate. Our only wish was that had we known, it really should be drained & refilled after two days of use since there are no added chemicals (which is a plus) Overall a wonderful experience & would highly recommend

Chic Highland Estate Cottage with Hot Tub

CarlyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the most wonderful stay in Butlers cottage. The attention to detail and interior was incredibly thought out, we have never stayed in such a beautiful cottage. The fires were lit upon our arrival and ross was there to welcome us in and show us around. He was genuinely one of the nicest hosts we have met, you can tell he’s passionate about what he does by how incredibly presented everything was. The garden and grounds were stunning, plenty of routes to walk the dog and plenty of places to sit and take in the surroundings. The cottage is tucked away, very nice and private yet still easy to get to and close to the little shop! which we loved. We bought the homemade rolls kit and they were to die for, easy to make and ended up with loads of them to take home. We will without a doubt be back again soon, we didn’t want to leave!!!

Lyn of Sheval Croft is a piece of heaven on Earth. It was incredibly charming inside and sitting in the dome in the evening watching the sunset was so peaceful. We loved watching the horses roam in the field behind the house. Jennifer was a great host giving us incredibly detailed instructions that made our stay seamless. She also provided fantastic recommendations for in home whiskey tasting by Steve and local in home meal delivery by Mac & Cat. Traditional Scottish Get Away - Pet Friendly

GaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a fantastic 3 night stay at Bea’s cottage to attend the Gordon Castle Highland Games. Spotlessly clean and tidy on arrival. Very cosy cottage with a relaxed rustic feel. Great shower!! Large, secure pet friendly garden which our dog loved. Remember to bring apples or carrots to feed the lovely horses which come up to the fence! Elgin and shopping is approx 10mins away as is the fantastic Burghead beach, great for a long walk. Bea was always quick to respond to messages and the cottage was fantastic value for money for four of us. All in all, easy and relaxed stay for us, thank you Bea.

Solas Cottage, 221 Seatown, Cullen.

AaronRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This was our third trip to Cullen. This location was by far the best of all of our visits. The location is perfect. It’s right on the seawall and beach. You can walk to all the restaurants and there are so much to do here. We stayed three full days and probably only spent 30 minutes total in the car and that was just to go to Buckie for groceries. The space is great. It’s cozy yet with plenty of room. The showers are excellent. The bed was comfortable. They have thought of everything and put a lot of work into this location. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

TinaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The cottage is very nicely located and has a great garden. The reception was very warm and there were delicious scones and fresh milk available. There is ample space and we were able to light the fireplace in the evening. Everything was clean and tidy and cozy. Our dogs were also very welcome and Graham was easy to reach - even when we needed a charger, he helped us. We felt comfortable all around and would love to come back.

Secluded luxury retreat on a country estate

DuncanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is an outstanding place for kids and furry friends. Sue and Jim could not have been more helpful or welcoming - the cottage is pristine, cosy and with all you need no matter the weather. The grounds are stunning; affording you real privacy and lots to explore and do from climbing trees to den making, and all whilst surrounded by nature. You are only 10 mins from Inverurie which has plenty of shops to meet your needs. A trip to the Old Post Office for brilliant cakes, Castle Fraser and Kemnay are worth a visit as is the Pit Stop for a great fry up and the Gordon Highlanders museum is perfect for a raining day. Easily the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was absolutely amazing — perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful surrounding areas. Ballater were just 15 minutes walk away and Stonehaven were just a short 30-minute drive away, and Aberdeen was only about an hour. We especially loved being so close to Balmoral Castle — it made for a lovely day out. One of the highlights of our trip was spotting deer in the estate , which really added to the magical feel of the place.
