Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Hovden

The property is absolutely stunning, only topped by the amazing views! The home is beautifully nestled into the rock and natural surroundings. Consequently, the views from the hot tub and the sauna are breathtaking. During our stay, we had excellent sunny weather and enjoyed daily. Hikes: either directly from the home or within a 30 minute car drive. The house itself is well laid out and the kitchen has everything you need for six people. It never felt crowded, except occasionally the two lounge chairs from which you could view the valley, as we sometimes fought over who gets to sit in them… 😊 There is a small grocery store just down the mountain within a 15 minute drive. It is well stocked but a bit expensive. For us this was a perfect vacation as we just wanted to enjoy nature and relax. Beyond that, there really isn’t much to do as there are neither museums nor cultural points of interest. During the winter time, this obviously is a prime skiing location.

We stayed at Marco's place for a week over New Year's Eve. We were there with four adults, one child, two toddlers and a dog. The place was very cozy and above all big enough for all of us. It was clean and everything important in terms of amenities was on site. The view was incredibly beautiful (especially from the jacuzzi) and the nature around it perfect for walking. We felt comfortable and what can be emphasized very positively was the communication with Marco. He was always friendly and always easily accessible. We just found it a pity that the firewood was not included in the price, as we know this from other accommodations and that some things were distributed outside (dishwashing brush, mop, grill grate). We were a little surprised, but didn't bother us. So it's complaining to a high standard. If the world wasn't that big, we would definitely come back.

The cottage is all with all the comforts and very comfortable. The hosts, Hans and Annelene are very hospitable and we got tips for places to visit in the area. We'd love to come back to discover more of this beautiful area.

The two of us had the whole yellow house. Large living room, large kitchen, large bedroom. Cozy furnishings. The sun warms the living room wonderfully. We enjoyed the sun on the large terrace very much. No noise from the nearby street can be heard. The railing from the Airbnb pictures was missing during our stay. No problem for adults, be careful with children. The bathroom with toilet is on the first floor near the bedrooms and requires climbing stairs during the day. The Joker supermarket is right across the street. It is also open on Sundays and holidays until 8 pm. We had a pleasant stay; highly recommended.

This is truly a great cabin with everything you could dream of! Definitely proper people who own this castle of a cabin, because here there were clever and great details everywhere, and very modern. There were 6 of us on a trip, and all the young people and adults and the 6 year old found their zones where they relaxed, enjoyed their holiday and were able to settle! We checked out the sauna by a small pond one of the days and it was really cozy. Only 10 minutes walk from the cabin. Otherwise, we had lots of Easter activities and cooked delicious food. The sun was also on our side, so we were outside grilled on the fire pit. Here we would love to come back! Thank you very much for us🤗

We had a wonderful stay and Johnny was delightful.

We were there over Christmas/New Year and had a very nice time. The house is very nice and newly furnished. The kitchen is well-equipped, even for the Christmas bakery. Wood for the stove is sufficiently available. The cross-country ski trail is right across the street, so you can strap your cross-country skis right outside the front door. Marita was always quickly accessible and very friendly. Come back anytime!

The apartment had everything we needed and was beautifully located, with lovely views and quiet surroundings. Lårdal is a fantastic place for a relaxing weekend, and we had a great time. The hostess Torill was absolutely great, she drove us to the start of Lårdalstigen and was always available if we needed anything. Her hospitality really made the stay extra special. In Lårdal, we found both a sauna and a cozy restaurant at the campsite. If I had to find something to complain about, the bed was too soft for our taste, and the shower jet could have been a little stronger. But this did not outweigh the otherwise nice stay. Highly recommended!

Absolutely nice apartment, neat and clean. Close enough to cross-country skiing and alpine skiing. Afternoon sun in March on the terrace disappeared early behind the mountain, only small minus for our part

We had a great time with Judith and Bouke. We felt very welcome from the first moment. The house is delicate and well-equipped and the views are simply magical. It was very nice to cycle Gamleveien to Folkestadbyen and relax on the beach near the house. Judith's gallery was the highlight of Folkestadbyen. The finest place there. We have acquired two fine works that we took home and hung on the walls. How lucky we are to have such great memories from our trip! Our daughter got to play with the cat and she had a lot of fun out on the sunny terrace. Many thanks to Judith and Bouke for their hospitality and kindness! This place is highly recommended!💖

We had a short stopover of one night in the apartment. The apartment was clean and well equipped. There is a ski resort directly opposite, which of course makes more sense in winter.

Very nice, spacious and very centrally located apartment (especially convenient when you are without a car, everything is easily accessible by foot). Great view to the river! Good and quick communication, very friendly. We would gladly came back!

We had a short one night stopover in the apartment. The apartment was clean and well equipped. You have to bring your own bed linen and towels. There are very specific check out instructions. The area is very nice and the view of a waterfall from the house is great.

Beautiful, quiet accommodation in the ski resort. At the time, there wasn't much going on there due to the season. Exactly what we wanted. Very nice apartment with specified amenities. Camilla gave clear instructions and responded quickly. All in all beautiful!

Unfortunately, we only had 2 nights in this beautiful accommodation, we would have liked to have stayed longer… The apartment is located on a farm, perfect for children. Thanks to Caren and David for the wonderful time.

Amazing stay - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible stay atKjetil Johan's place! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Communication was fast and clear and check in was seamless. the cottage was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept wonderfully every night. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were little touches everywhere that really showed how much care the host had put into the guests experience. Location was perfect , close to the ski slopes.
