We just landed back in UK after a fantastic stay in beautiful post card picture log cabin,loads of space and very warm and homely. steep drive to cabin in icing weather but roads are cleared.foind it ok We drove to hovden and did skiing for 3 days around 1 Hr drive but broke on your doorstep but was only open on sat, Sunday, Thursday and we arrived Friday.

We had the most wonderful week with children, grandchildren and mother-in-law in this absolutely unique and for an architect's exciting house - an original Norwegian log cabin with super comfortable furniture, beds and well equipped with all kitchen equipment, firewood, games, TV and internet. The cabin was secluded a little by itself overlooking the beautiful Brokke mountain and over the cabin area, which we enjoyed from the porch around the fire pit, We could walk/stand skiing to the ski place, which also meets all our needs. We give the cabin, Bente and Tor-Olav our best recommendations and would like to come again - not least to also experience the place in the summer. Only downside was that we had to wear snow chains 500 meters before the cabin. We were not prepared for the driveway to be so steep. We later found that it is easier to drive a little further on the big road, and first drive into the cabin area from the driveway just across from Brokke-Alpincenter. In the cabin, there is gravel to spread out, but we only found out later. Thank you very much for the loan: -)

We have spent one week in the cabin of Aart to enjoy the tranquility and go skiing a bit. The cabin is high standard and the location is unashamed with amazing nature. Aart has described everything from directions to practical information in detail so nothing was left to chance. The cabin is very practical and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. We were there with family and everyone arę happy with this House. It was clean and the atmosphere was warzone there.

We were two families with children celebrating New Year here. Super and spacious cabin with great location and proximity to ski slopes and resorts.

We had a wonderful stay at Annika's mountain hut. It was a beautiful area and we had everything we needed on site. If we had any questions, Annika always responded promptly and had quick solutions for us. Everything was very straightforward. We highly recommend Annika as a host.

Great location if you like the outdoors and don't give a sh#t about wifi which you won't miss at all because there are plenty of trees.

2 nights in the most beautiful surroundings we have ever experienced. Waking up to the view of an impressive landscape - a lake surrounded by snow covered mountains - is more than one can wish for! They were both very welcoming, sweet and so helpful, and we felt right at home. The area is perfect for hiking and experiencing the breathtaking nature of Telemark. We hiked to Kvikkevann, and had the mountains all to ourselves. Such an amazing experience, and we will definitely come back😍

In a very nice environment, Anne Marie's place is similar to a small wooden dollhouse, very romantic, very well-equipped and the host was extremely friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend hosting.

Very cozy and well-functioning cabin with extremely good location for alpine slopes and cross-country skiing (200 meters). Øystein always responded quickly. I only have great recommendations.

Really nice cabin everything was as it should be! You just had to walk a little bit to get to the slopes, besides that, everything was just perfect☺️

Really nice cabin in a great location. We arrived at 27th Dec. to a warm and cozy Christmas decorated cabin. Jan and family had been there for Christmas. We were in the cabin 7 adults over the New Year. We especially enjoyed the lovely large kitchen-dining room and living room with plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen is well-equipped and has plenty of room to cook. Cross-country skiing trail close to the house. Jan was a very helpful and attentive host. We will love to come back. Thanks for now. Tu

Very nice cabin—modern, clean, and equipped with everything one might need. Perfect location right by the slopes, making it ideal for skiing. Mr. Ulf is very kind, helpful, and communicates easily. We would love to travel here again 🙂

It was our second holiday in Rauland and we felt very comfortable in Richard and Monica's house again. We were lucky with the weather. Every day we could enjoy the view of the fascinating mountains from the large terrace. The house is very cosy and the perfect place to relax after a ski tour. Richard and Monica are wonderful hosts and always very helpful. The central location of the house is ideal for winter sports and excursions in the surrounding area. We made it to the highest mountain Gaustatoppen this time and it was a great experience. Rauland is always worth a visit and we would love to come back.

The house is situated on a beautiful plot of land adjacent to the lake, within a short walk of the nearest ski lift in winter and right next to fishing in summer. Theres plenty of parking and large space for entertainment. The host is friendly and swift to reply and address questions. Theres everything in the kitchen needed to cater for meals, the entertainment room is great for some inside chillax, and the jacuzzi was a highlight for both kids and adults.
