Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Houten

We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad met onze familie, 2 kinderen en 2 tieners erbij. Ondanks de regen prima binnen vermaakt met pool-en tennistafel, heerlijke sauna en zelfs het zwembad was al open. Prima slaapkamers en goed ingerichte keuken. Contact verliep via Eisha, was heel snel en prettig. We komen graag terug! Hopelijk volgende keer mooi weer om ook te kunnen genieten van de tuin.

We had a pleasure staying at this cozy, stylish family home. The house is beautifully decorated with vintage treasures and breathes peace with all the plants inside and outside. It was comfortable, and had everything needed for a perfect stay. The highlight for us was the garden and very comfy beds. And of course a special part of looking after Blanci the cat and the guinea pigs, this felt even more like at home. It was like a little oasis in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, yet we were still just a short walk to the train station or a quick drive to Utrecht. Shops and restaurants are nearly 5-7min walking distance. Houten is a lovely small town, we wished we had more time to explore it’s gems. Jeannette was always helpful and attentive. We are very grateful for this kind experience. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us - we’d happily come back again!

Perfect accommodation for short stays! Room is big and cozy, Kris is a nice and kind host. Recommended!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, in einer sehr angenehmen und ruhigen Unterkunft. Der Bus in die Stadt ist etwas entfernt - wie beschrieben. Alles war herrlich sauber und schön vorbereitet mit vielen hilfreichen Tips. Monique war jederzeit erreichbar. Gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

Just a beautiful holiday home. The pictures don’t quite do the kitchen/living room justice. It’s very modern with lovely wooden floors and high vaulted ceilings with the original beams still on show. If you want a nice,warm, comfortable, and spacious place to stay then this house is perfect. Hosts were really helpful and made us feel very welcome We hope to come back again soon.

Der Aufenthalt in dem wunderbaren Haus von Isabels Großmutter war sehr schön und erholsam! Der Ort ist ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Spaziergänge, Ausflüge in die Umgebung und eine Stadtbesichtigung in Utrecht. Das Haus selbst ist perfekt ausgestattet, sehr sauber und wir haben uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt. Wir können einen Aufenthalt bei Isabel sehr weiter empfehlen. Herzlichen Dank für ein sehr gelungenes langes Wochenende!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unique location. Very peaceful. Place was clean and warm. Only issue was the parking situation. We tried to find a place along the streets a couple of times without success. Ended up paying 67 euro for each day in a parking garage. Despite this we have no regrets staying there 🙂

We loved our long weekend in Nieuwland. This is a tiny village so very quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes drive from the motorway. The house was exactly as described and very comfortable for our group of 3 people. Everything worked great- lovely kitchen, powerful shower and a tv with a guest Netflix account. We were disappointed we didn't get a chance to sit outside in the courtyard due to the rain. We would happily return and would recommend to anyone who wants peace and quiet away from town. Dieser Ort ist zauberhaft! Wir haben die Tage in dem so hübsch eingerichteten Dachgeschoss und den Tieren im Garten rundum genossen. Unsere Tochter (knapp 2 Jahre alt) hat das Spielen im Garten und das Tiere streicheln so geliebt. Wir haben uns wie in Bullerbü gefühlt! Mirjam stand uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, hat jeden Tag ein frisches, super leckeres Frühstück für uns vorbereitet und uns Fahrräder geliehen. :-) Ganz große Empfehlung!!

Diederik‘s flat was fantastic for our trip to Utretch. A very quiet neighborhood with lovely old homes and surroundings. Exactly what we needed for our first trip with our little one. The apt is spacious and has all you need. Only downside is the stairs between floors are a bit more tight/narrow/steep than they appear in the photos. So be careful if you have a little one. Otherwise we loved our stay at his place. Its a great getaway.

Truly a 5 star experience. Rob met us at the front door (a rare experience these days on Airbnb) and showed us the space. He was knowledgeable of the area and always available to answer questions. Genuinely a lovely person. 10/10

We loved our time in this artsy, welcoming and charming little spot! Lex and Sylvie were very responsive and helpful, checking in and also leaving some great nibbles in the kitchen (fruit, juice, yogurt, cheese, jam, butter and much more!) They also gave us a heads up about the Utrecht Pride event, which is not to be missed if you can be there for it. The boat parade goes right down the lovely canal right outside the door. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with great restaurants and bakeries. The apartment was the perfect space for our two adults and one teen and we took advantage of sitting out front along the canal every single day. It’s an older building and you can hear the floorboards upstairs but it was never an issue for sleeping because Lex and Sylvie didn’t seem to be night owls. I would love to come back someday!

The apartment was lovely and cozy, with plenty of useful amenities that made our stay comfortable. The host was very kind and responsive, which we really appreciated. Overall, the place was clean and well-maintained, though the bedsheets could use a refresh. The beds are very soft (something to keep in mind depending on your preference). Despite these minor points, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!

Nanda’s place is very spacious and comfortable, with lovely large windows and all the facilities you would need. The apartment is on the first floor (no lift!) with the hosts’ living area on the ground floor and bedrooms on the second floor. Easy 5 minute walk to buses, just 3 stops to Central Utrecht. Nanda was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Recommended!

A very comfortable stay in a mix of historic and modern surroundings. A lot of steps but not unexpected. Close to amenities. Host responded quickly to inquiries. Overall, a lovely stay!

The apartment is in a great, vibrant neighborhood only minutes from the downtown. It is spacious with plenty of light. Rein is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Monica was incredibly responsive and helpful. The neighbourhood was quiet with convenient amenities - supermarket close by, the local bakery was magnificent and the bus stop was 12 metres away. We would highly recommend Green Blossom as a wonderful location to spend a couple of nights. Well appointed and very comfortable with everything you need.

This was a fantastic property. Perfectly located and walking distance from main sites. Lots of places to eat and drink within a few minutes. It was quit noisey Friday night but the appartment was so spacious and comfortable. The amenities were brilliant. This proper was exceptional and I would highly recommend it.

The accommodation is not very soundproof, you have to be very careful with the sound, but overall it was worth it for our activity

Wij verbleven hier als tussenstop in onze wandeltocht over de Utrechtse heuvelrug. Perfecte locatie, het huisje was erg schoon en netjes en heel fijn dat je een eigen tuintje hebt. Prima bedden en 2 kussen verschillend in zachtheid zodat er voor ieder wat wils is. Voor wie op zoek is naar een makkelijk, lekker en gezonde maaltijd in de buurt, probeer zeker de toko op ongeveer 150 meter lopen!
