The apartment is set high up on Little Lionshead with panoramic views of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Folding doors lead onto an expansive pool deck with sun loungers and a gas barbecue all for the exclusive use of the apartment guests. There is a full kitchenette with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, an en suite bathroom, lounge area with a large flat panel TV and an open-plan dining area. The apartment is serviced daily except for Sundays and public holidays. We have solar and battery power so are not affected by power outages. Mountain Walks, Village atmosphere with a city 10 minutes away. Beach 2km away. The suite is located on the lower level of the property and is totally private. There is parking on the property. Pool, garden, Mountain We are available to transport you around the Cape, take you on wine tours at an additional fee. MacD, our housekeeper is on hand 24 hours to assist where necessary The house is safe and secure with guarded entrance. Wake up to birdsong and enjoy the surrounding majestic mountains. Mount Rhodes is a security estate nestled in the foot of Little Lions Head. Hout bay was wonderful and the house had lovely beds and plenty of kitchen dishes as well as towels for the beach and even some sand toys. The place was cleaned meticulously and was relatively easy to access. They had a booklet of local recommendations that was helpful if a little overstuffed. The first two pages worked great. The washer and drier left something to be desired - the drier door wouldn’t stay shut and was finicky about turning on. The house could have used a few little touches like some laundry detergent, but Abigail was helpful.

Paddy and Chris are exceptional host, they are very friendly and accommodating. The house is very well kept and perfectly located. It is in a very secure area in Hout Bay. It’s close to local amenities. I would definitely recommend this place and will also book this accommodation next time I am in Cape Town. The house feels like home away from home.

Our stay at Philipp’s place was fantastic. From the moment we booked, we could tell Philipp was an exceptional host. His communication and care were outstanding. When we arrived, he welcomed us personally, helped with our bags, and gave us a mini tour along with much-appreciated coffee recommendations. One detail I especially loved was the beautiful handbook he’s put together with thoughtful restaurant recommendations and personal notes. It was such a lovely touch and really shows how much care he puts into creating a wonderful experience for his guests. Once we settled in, I have to say: impressed is an understatement. I can be quite particular, and this was truly an excellent stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated, with high-quality appliances and thoughtful complimentary touches throughout. I had an absolutely amazing stay with Sophia! She and her husband are some of the best AirBnB hosts I've ever come across. They were accomodating, super responsive and extremely friendly. The place was extremely clean and tidy, not to mention drop-dead gorgeous. The aircons helped during the colder moments, and it was great to have a balcony with a mind-blowing view. Sophia gifted my now fiancée with flowers and bubbles upon our looming engagement. A perfect place to stay over our engagement and Sophia and her husband are gems!

I had the most incredible stay! The apartment is beautifully styled, modern, super clean, and the XL bed is so comfortable. But what truly stood out was the sunset view, even in the middle of winter. Watching the sun dip below the ocean from the balcony, with the sky turning shades of pink and purple, was pure magic and a highlight of our stay. Tanya was so responsive, and made check-in and out a breeze. I can’t recommend this place enough, whether you’re visiting in summer or winter, it’s the perfect Cape Town escape. I’ll definitely be back!
