Cottage vacation rentals in Hourtin

Great value, the location is great (close to a supermarket 5 min drive, close to Royan and Saintes), this house will take you away from the city. Beware of having 1 bathroom for 10 people (but we know this from the reservation) Otherwise, really in line with expectations, I recommend it!

Everything is relaxing. The old stone mill and its green environment for the eyes, the sound of the river and the birdsong for the ears, the smell of trees in bloom and cut grass. The mill is a 5-10 minute walk to all the amenities that the small medieval town of Pons offers. Louise and Michael welcomed us warmly, caring about our well-being in their home while preserving our privacy. We had a great weekend at Moulin Chaillou, we can only recommend it. We had chosen Aude's apartment for its proximity to the highway, without any noise inconvenience, the environment is very quiet. We arrived later than expected, around 10pm but were hosted very well! The listing matched the photos, easy to find, and Aude was very responsive. The umbrella bed had already been mounted. In short, a quick and relaxing stopover on the holiday route! Thank you again

Very nice large house with a large wooded garden. Close to the sea, bike paths and all amenities. The beaches are very beautiful with a wild side, there are even natural pools, it's perfect for children. Great for a family vacation! We received a very nice welcome, Simon and Ludivine are very friendly and available! We'll be happy to go back!

We had a great time in your home, 4 couples and 1 single person, plenty of room for everyone, the 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets are highly appreciated. Air conditioning for each room for everyone's comfort. A perfectly maintained exterior, the pool was highly appreciated and the grills around the sheltered barbecue were a wonderful idea to get through the rain. We would highly recommend your rental. We would also like to thank your friend who welcomed us very pleasantly on Friday with a smile.

Cute little cabin with everything you need. Marie sent very detailed information in advance, so we found everything well. The location is great for excursions in the region or to the beach.

We had a lovely stay at Corinne's house. A haven of peace, silence. Beautiful layout of the house. Each room has a function and allows for privacy. Very large garden. Trees to find shade. I can only recommend the accommodation, the quality of communication with Corinne. Thanks to Corinne for her flexibility and kindness. If I come back to the area, I won't hesitate to rent the accommodation again.

We enjoyed our stay in Hourtin at Julie's: The accommodation is a few minutes walk from the lake and services ( breweries, bakery, bike rental). The sea is within easy driving distance. Julie and her husband are available and welcoming hosts.

The cottage is very well located: a stone's throw from the lake and the children's island. It is a perfect place for family holidays. Inside the accommodation, the equipment is complete, there is storage. You can settle in comfortably for the holidays. The garden is enclosed which is safe for the kids. Marie was always very responsive, she kindly heard from us during the stay. No negative points to report. I would 100% recommend Marie and her place.

We had a great time staying at Mylene's house with swimming at the lake 10 minutes away and a short walk to the market in 20 minutes. The terrain is large, there is shade. The chalet is very warm. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Welcoming, comfortable and quiet place. Close to all the tourist areas of the surroundings, Royan, St Georges, Merschers, Marennes and this train des mouettes that leaves from Saujon and goes to La Tremblade. We recommend it in a second.
