Beachfront vacation rentals in Houmt Souk

We had a lovely stay at this villa! Vaux its price! Very responsive owners, the Bachir caretaker present to maintain the villa daily is very kind! Very good place to have a family holiday in a quiet space out of sight not overlooked to swim in the pool is great! On top of that the house is very nice! An air conditioner in the living room would have been appreciated in these hot weather:) Too bad that water is hot because of outdoor ducts exposed to the sun We'll be back with pleasure:)

Located in a very peaceful neighborhood. I enjoyed my time in Djerba. I was able to walk to the Radisson Blu and have some drinks and have dinner. There are supermarkets nearby and a post office as well. There is a cafe a short walk away. On the main road you can catch a taxi. With a rental car, southern Djerba is a short 2 hour drive away to see the gorgeous locations in Tataouine. Hassen was always responsive even when my flight was delayed or changed. The house is awesome and spacious. I was able to also make breakfast and a snack when I wanted to stay in. There was plenty of hot water and the heaters kept the home warm during the chilly winter nights. I highly recommend this space if you are in Djerba and need plenty of space for your vacation.

Very nice villa. Everything was compliant to the description and photos. Karim was very reactive to the messages and was checking if Everything went well. Good location and well equiped villa. The mall is just 5min from the villa. Too many attractions are close by ! The garden and the terrasse are also nice. will come back for sure !

We had a wonderful time in Maher’s home on Djerba for the month January. This is a large, two story home with 3 master bedrooms, all with large closets and private bathrooms. There is also a 1/2 bath on the lower level. The pool area is nice, the pool was always clean even though it was too cold for us to swim. It was wintertime with cool temperatures though it was always hot and sunny by the pool. The washing machine works well and there is an outdoor clothes line. There were very few tourists in January and it was peaceful everywhere. Lots of restaurants were closed. We spent many afternoons on the outdoor sofa at The Sunset Bar drinking pints of local beer. We loved the local markets in Houmt Souk, on Monday morning, and Midoun on Friday morning. Mabruk, the caretaker, lives in the tiny house on the property. He is a very nice man who will help you with anything you need. Thanks, Maher, we loved our time in Djerba.

We were 6 people and we rented 2 apartments from Ihsen. A first floor apartment with lovely views of the surroundings and a second on the ground floor with a lovely garden terrace perfect for breakfast or meals under the palm trees to the sound of birds. The neighborhood is residential and very quiet. The beach is only 5 minutes walking distance and restaurants and small shops are also very close. We had a great week. Ihsen and his wife are professional and we will remember their hospitality, their many good advice and great kindness. We're glad we met them and were able to stay with them. Thanks again for everything! Perfect for an immersion in this beautiful island of Djerba!

We stayed with our family for 4 weeks and had a great time! Big house with lots of space and nice beach close by. We rented a car to get around which made our stay more easier.

Gorgeous quiet location near the sea! The villa is very comfortable and the pool is luxurious! Sarra and her mom were wonderful hosts and helped us out with transportation, finding restaurants, and treating us well.

We had a wonderful stay at Myriam’s place and highly recommend it! The house is really spacious and well taken care of. It’s lovely having the living room give onto the pool - the kids could play and we could watch over easily. The pool is pristine and we spent many happy hours in there. The aircon and wifi worked really well too. We took the service of their cleaner every day and she was very good too. The family helped us make pool/lunch reservations in hotels nearby. The cherry on the cake was how responsive and helpful Myriam and her cousin Tito - who is the manager on the ground - are. Our luggage only arrived 36 hours after we landed in Djerba so Tito helped us get essentials. I left a handbag behind when we left for our 2nd AirBnB and they got it back to me. We had a very bad experience in our second AirBnB and had to move out. All the hotels with connecting rooms were sold out but Myriam, Tito and her whole family helped us relocate last minute in another of their units.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this studio. The location is among the best on the island, the views were stunning. The plus studio was very well equipped with a variety of appliances like a coffee maker, toaster, and even a blender! Finally, I wanted to especially thank Mr. Abdelslam for his hospitality and kindness, he went above and beyond to provide me with the best service. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone who wants to have a great summer vacation.

Very nice house in a very good location. Inès had organized everything to make our arrival go as well as possible. Taxi at the airport and fish couscous to start the vacation well. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Noura is a great host, we were very well received, and it lasted throughout the stay because she was very attentive to us, her availability and kindness make her an exceptional person, as for the house, she is very pretty, tastefully decorated and in a beautiful very quiet neighborhood, just a few meters from a quiet beach and right next to a road, not to mention that it is located between the tourist area and Houmet Souk where the marina is located... nice apartment facing the sea! only small downside would be to rethink the front door that lets the air through a little too much. in summer it's fine, but in low season it's a little worse! Thank you for hosting us!
