Panorama is a Superior built in the mansion of the Baglio Occhipinti. It is located on the first floor and is accessed via a characteristic staircase from the Baglio’s living room. Everything is romantic in Panorama: the sloping roofs in white wood, the contrast of the whiteness of the walls and the furniture with the red of the old cement tiles, obtained from the restoration of a family property, the passion red cast iron bathtub.

Baglio Occhipinti is owned and run by Fausta Occhipinti and her family. Fausta is a Sicilian interior and landscape architect, with the love for the hospitality. The Occhipinti family are passionate about wine, authentic cuisine, local artisanal heritage, they loves gardening and above all loves to share all aspects of their culture with her guests at Baglio Occhipinti.
The resort is centered around an authentic winery house dating back to 1860, in the beautiful Sicilian countryside, surrounded by vineyards and organic olive groves.
The Baglio Occhipinti house is full of history: Baglio mean “farm” in old Sicilian dialect; the old building was completely oriented in wine production, and you can live this atmosphere in our lounge called “Palmento”.
Lovingly restored by the Occhipinti family, it features, 8 panoramic suites all furnished in vintage style that offer you a comfortably stay and quiet deep sleep which will regenerate you.
After a sweet awakening you can enjoy an unforgettable organic breakfast with local products.
Just after a regenerating swim in our 18 meter salt purified pool in the Sicilian garden, or after admiring a romantic sunset, you delight a typical Sicilian dinner, with vegan or vegetarian option, in our countryside restaurant under a dreamy starry sky.
By staying at the Baglio Occhipinti you can enjoy our lovely cooking class in our ancient kitchen with wood-burning oven and a large stone sink, so you can learn all the secrets how to cook a proper Sicilian dinner, you can also taste the local wine in different winery, or enjoying a horse riding tour, a bike tour or a sailing tour.

YOUR ROOM:
Relax bathing in the old bathtub, which faces the panorama of the countryside. The large window offers a wonderful view of the countryside. Entering the bedroom you will be pleasantly greeted by the scent of fresh flowers of the field. The suite is spacious, 30 square meters large, fine furnished in vintage design style, all equipped with en-suite bathroom decorated with ancient ceramics. Panorama suite is decorated with two original antique candlesticks, handmade in Sicily. The floor is gorgeous old cement tiles, hand made, following a local artisan technique.The bathroom is contiguous to the bedroom. Inside Panorama suite you can relax in the comfortable lounge or read comfortably sitting at your desk. The suite is quiet, soundproof, heating and air conditioning equipped.

Welcome! Arriving at Baglio Occhipinti, after showing you the farmhouse and your suite, we will be happy to offer you a cool drink and a sweet traditional snack. So you can acclimatize in the convivial atmosphere of the house. We are passionate about our Sicily and we love to share with you this knowledge. We will be happy to give you the right advice to visit the region, discover the secrets and the most fascinating places. We will be at your complete disposal for lunch, dinner, or for just an appetizer.
We know the oldest Sicilian recipes secrets and we will be happy to share them with you in a cooking class, we can also book wine tour, sailing or hiking tour.
Everyday, we will be happy to serve you a delightful organic breakfast in the garden, or inside the living room of the farm house, included on the price.
We also serve dinner, with vegetarian or vegan option, and you choose when you wish to join us.
Our farmhouse restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and is only for our guests. All our dishes are cooked on the basis of ancient Sicilian family recipes. In the past, every aristocratic Family had a French chef called “Monsù”, from the French word “Monsieur”, who cooked for their lords using foodstuffs by the warm land of Sicily mindful to the great Greek, Roman, Arab, Jewish, Norman and Spanish culinary traditions. To cook our dishes we use foodstuffs we produce or produced by local farms and it is all lovingly put together by our in-house chef
