What a great find! The Log Cabin was a perfect base for the pair of us exploring Devon. After busy days on the coast or in Dartmoor, it was great to BBQ in the big garden, watching evening fall and the swallows dart about. It’s compact but doesn’t feel like that owing to Belinda’s clever use of space and décor. The pictures are accurate. Whatever space you’re in feels spacious and even sumptuous. I could be in the kitchen happily doing my thing while my partner lounged in the pleasant living room. Belinda is a great host, very helpful, coming to our rescue several times. We look forward to returning.

A great stay at a tranquil location. The cottage was just as described A couple of points for those thinking of staying there: - Please do read Deborah's "how to get there." It points out the mistake that SatNav makes and what to do instead. - Be aware that the only access road is littered with potholes, so drive carefully.

Beautiful, peaceful, and within close proximity of plenty of activities! We stayed with our toddler who greatly enjoyed “swimming” in the huge hot tub and made himself at home in the spacious cottage. Very well-equipped facilities so you feel right at home but also a touch of luxury with the super comfy beds and bedding which is plush and pristine white. The surroundings are beautiful but Exeter only 15 minutes drive to the city centre, plus various other options on the doorstep via a short drive. There are 3 cottages in total but the clever use of wooden dividers around the outside areas allows for good privacy, you don’t notice there are other guests staying nearby. A fabulous stay and would definitely recommend!
