Although many people have used it, we have decided to temporarily close it at the end of July this year. We plan to reopen, so please wait. A log house surrounded by greenery, with a view of the Yatsugatake Mountains from the terrace. Fujimi Panorama Resort is a 5-minute drive. Skiing and snowboarding in the winter. In the summer, you can enjoy mountain climbing and mountain biking at Mt. Irusaka, where the flowers are in full bloom. Fujimi Kogen Resort is a 15-minute drive. The accommodation is perfect for families with children. It is very quiet because there are no houses around, and in the morning, the sound of small birds is lively. It is a distance from the station and supermarket, and a car is necessary. Be sure to have winter tires and chains in the winter. Please note that there is no air conditioner. There is a fan. The bedding is not a bed but a futon. Additional charges apply for 5 or more people, but up to 8 people can stay. Of the additional guests, children 2 years old and younger are free. Half price for children from 3 years old to elementary school age. From December to March, winter rates are set with heating costs added. Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period. It was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and was built in 1931 in this town, where lacquerware shops are still lined up. Limited to one group per day without meals, you can use the entire house. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the unforgettable beauty and abundance. It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. The daily situation is also sending out on SNS, so please take a look. There are no screen doors in an old house in the valley of the mountains, so natural creatures may come in during the warmer months. The 93-year-old building is not polished in detail. Stefano’s place was clean, comfortable and functional. It is quiet, peaceful and has everything we needed. It was nice to wake up to views of rice fields and mountains. We like the bath tub that we could soak in after all the long hikes. The washer and dryer machine was very useful and convenient. Most of all, Stefano and his wife were so hospitable and helpful. My daughter was having some chest tightness at night and I was worried about finding medical help in the rural area. But both Stefano and his wife came down to our room to help us. Very grateful to have locals to give us advice in time of need. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Komagane. The ropeway is definitely a must-go, which is a convenient short drive from this airbnb.

This was the best host I have EVER stayed with. Picked me up from the station and brought me home. Drove me back after check out. Had free bike rentals. All this saved me money, time, and hassle. Then during the day I got a flat tire on the bicycle and he came and picked me up! Asked if I was okay and gave me another bicycle. I was thinking he would be upset I messed up the bike. Went above and beyond in every aspect and was the best host you could ask for. Very kind and non transactional with his help. 100 out of 10 stars.

Spacious and cozy place - 2 bedrooms and 1 living room and plenty of parking spaces. Location is perfect, it’s right next to Takashima Castle and a cafe that sells delicious tarts and cakes (Le Pommier). Family Mart and drugstore is also walkable within minutes from the accommodation. There were free bicycles to use, unfortunately it was raining quite heavily when we were there and we didn’t get to use it. There were also brochures provided for us and we discovered nearby onsens and attractions. Similar to the other reviews, we heard footsteps of the guests living on the second floor. Thankfully they didn’t make too much noise at bedtime and we slept well. Another thing to note, there is no bidet.

Some people run their Airbnb just as a business, but it's clear that Yudike and Asami have a genuine passion for hospitality and meeting new people. One glance at the adorable guestbook lets you know the level of care and consideration that they put into every aspect of their property. We stayed as a family with one child, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Odawara is a wonderful, vibrant, and entirely friendly city that is bound to blow up in tourism over the next few years. Everything is four minutes away -- the station, Don Quijote, Daiso, dinner options, family breakfast chains, a bus to Yunessun. I will definitely be back, and hopefully able to stay at this exact same spot.

Very fun and beautiful place. You can tell that they took a lot of time and planning to create the layout and atmosphere. It’s by far my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever booked.

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.
