It is about 25 km to Aarhus and about 20 km to Ebeltoft. The house has 3 bedrooms. There is a kitchen and living room with a wood-burning stove. There are two terraces with sun and good shelter. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Kirkebakken 4 is an old half-timbered house from 1780 centrally located in Rosernes By Mariager. The house has a small garden with terrace with garden table, chairs and barbecue. The house has been completely renovated with underfloor heating and an open fireplace. Kirkebakken 4 is an old house, where renovation has been done with respect for the house, therefore there is a difference in level on the ground floor as well as stairs to the 1st floor. The house is located in the heart of Mariager and overlooks the town's beautiful and historic monastery church.

The house is newly renovated with access to its own terrace and has the most beautiful view over a very special landscape. On starry nights, you can experience the starry sky from the bed through the studio windows in the roof. During the day, you can enjoy the special light that the location close to the sea and fjord casts over the landscape. On the ridge behind the house, there is the finest view of the Limfjord and the countryside behind. It is not far to the fjord, where there are good swimming conditions and the trip there is really beautiful.

Right outside the door there are marked hiking trails, and close to MTB tracks as well as riding trails. Possibility of grass paddocks for horses within 1 km. Ørnhøj Golf Club is only 8 km away and 20 km to Rold Skov Golf Club.
