The main house and the sleeping area (a barn where indigo was stored) have been demolished due to aging, but the historic living room and garden have been preserved to allow guests to experience a little bit of that time, and it is used as a farmhouse inn. In the old days, "Indigofera" grew on the fertile land of the Yoshino River basin in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing great wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa Province). Ancient documents on indigo, including cultural properties, are also available for viewing. Perhaps the greatest asset of this accommodation is its one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a completely DIY sauna, designed and built entirely by JP, with a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Indulge in a sauna experience you can only enjoy here, enveloped in the gentle warmth of the wood-burning stove. The room also has a traditional Japanese sunken hearth, typical of an old kominka house. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own cooking utensils, such as ingredients and skewers. The inn is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled in the mountains of Misasaki City, Okayama Prefecture.
