Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hilton Head Island

This is such a great place to stay at Hilton Head Island! The condo has everything you need for a fun stay. Our favorite features were the balcony and pool. The balcony is roomy with such a peaceful view. The host was very communicative. She always texted and responded quickly! The walk to the beach was a short, shady, beautiful walk. There is also access to the bathroom there included in the stay. We recommend this place! We hope to stay again.

Leyani’s place is situated beautifully in Palmetto Dunes, providing easy access to the beach, restaurants, bike paths, tennis courts, and more! We appreciated Leyani’s clear and prompt communication regarding a minor cleaning issue—she was extremely professional, helpful, and prompt. The layout is wonderful for families, with 3 full bathrooms, the master downstairs, and a large second bedroom and loft sleeping area upstairs. We loved our time in Hilton Head!

James is an amazing host! We had another fantastic stay in Hilton Head, and this place was absolutely perfect. It’s just a short walk to the beach, in a very secure and peaceful area. We rented bikes and had them delivered right to us—super convenient! The kitchen is well stocked, the bed was really comfortable, and the living room has a great TV with cable for relaxing in the evenings. Thank you, James, for helping make our short trip such a wonderful and memorable time for our family!

Great stay! In building three with an indoor pool, hot tubs, arcade and more. Nicely decorated and had everything needed. Theresa was very responsive and accommodating.

We loved the stay for our first beach trip with our two young daughters. The set up was perfect, clean and safe for our crawling infant. Our 3 year old loved the toys set aside to play with! It was clean cozy and perfect for a family of 4 stay. Will definitely be returning!

This was the perfect vacation destination! Plenty of room for our family and all the amenities we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing trip. The kitchen was well stocked with all the needed items to cook in the unit. The pool was awesome and the walk to the beach was very manageable. Highly recommend and would vacation here again!

Ideal location! Palmetto Dunes is our favorite area to stay at on the island; this condo was situated perfectly: oceanfront and convenient to everything while still feeling tucked away. The condo was clean, and we loved the updated coastal decor. The gift bag was such a lovely touch, and we loved that beach towels were included, as 4 beach towels would have been quite a bit extra to pack when you’re flying.

My family and I had never seen the ocean before. The place was within walking distance of the beach. The people who were there helped us find little places to go and other places to see. I would recommend this spot to anyone!

We loved the location of this clean, bright space. There is an easy walk to the beach and quick bike rides to the horse stables, Harbor Town, and South Beach. Jessica was helpful and responsive while we were there.

We had an amazing week here! Very responsive host who gave us great recommendations. The villa is walkable to South Beach which was less crowded than a lot of beaches. Beautiful sunsets and dolphins here!

My husband and I had the best vacation here! This place couldn't have been more perfect. It was beautifully decorated and we enjoyed both ocean view and pool view. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops and even the grocery store! Our host described it as her little slice of heaven and we certainly found out why! Highly recommend Michelle as a host and her place!

Arion and Wendy were great hosts. Their beautiful condo was directly in harbor town convenient to shops and dining and an easy walk and bike ride to everything. Their unit was very nice and clean and our hosts regularly communicated with us and checked in to be sure our stay was pleasant and we had everything we needed. Kitchen was very nicely stocked as well. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend their unit if you are visiting and staying in Hilton head. You can’t beat the location and convenience. We were also able to drive to the beach and park at the sea pines beach club with our pass for free. Thanks again Allan and Elaine.

Steve & Joanna were very responsive from the beginning & all the way through. Their place was lovely and clean and the condo faces the ocean & the view from the balcony is beautiful!! The pool is super close & the beach just a short walk from the pool area. Great HH get away! ❤️

Very nice condo, enjoyed our stay. HHI is not your typical beach town. You will need to use navigation to get everywhere.

Place was exactly as described. Had one small hiccup and Janet was very responsive and had it resolved. Directions/instructions in house were very helpful for things like TV, A/C, etc. Can’t beat the view if you’re a golf fan, sitting on the screened in porch and watching the 9th at Harbour Town. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants at the lighthouse, so a very convenient location. Highly recommend!

Very nice home packed full of amenities and necessities! We loved having the pool on the main level as opposed to the garage/lower level like many other homes in the neighborhood. Easy, 10 minute walk to the beach and the host was very responsive. Highly recommend and will return in the future!

The place is as advertised, you get the left side of a house and there may be guests on the other side. Great location, just a 3 minute walk to the beach. Joe was responsive and addressed a request promptly. We had a good stay!

Beachside property was very accommodating, and pleasant. The home was perfect for our large family, and the front porch provided a great meeting space for downtime, some ping pong, and lounging in the hammock. We had a challenge during checking with the code, but the 24/7 response team we called was able to get us in within minutes. They followed up the next day, and were very accommodating when we sent requests in via text.

The best thing about the house for us was proximity to the beach. It is one block from the entrance to Burke’s Beach. Beach chairs do not come with the home but rentals are available on the beach. The home was very clean and some basic pantry amenities were available on arrival. The front porch is great for morning coffee, book reading, or family dinner. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
