The ground floor apartment is located in a quiet residential area in the Konrad-Zuse city of Hünfeld. It is 500 m to an outdoor swimming pool and 400 m to the Haselsee recreational park. The city center of Hünfeld with its cafés, shopping and restaurants can be reached through the Bürgerpark in approx. 15-minute walk. The nearby Rhön with its biosphere reserve as well as the ski and toboggan arena on the Wasserkuppe are about 35 minutes. Fulda is about 15 minutes by car.

But also there are bus lines which opperate in different directions as well as right into the heart of the hiking area.

Surrounded by meadows, forests and wonderful tranquility, this is the perfect place to unwind, breathe deeply and enjoy. We rent our hut "Großer Bär" to nice people who like to vacation in nature: very quiet and located in the middle of the forest, although you only need 5 minutes by car to the city and the nearest shopping facilities.

In this 2-story property, the bathroom, one bedroom, and the fully equipped kitchen are located on the ground floor. Upstairs, there is another bedroom and a cozy living room. The peaceful garden invites you to linger and relax. A table and chairs are available there; in summer, two sun loungers are added to the offering. Frankenheim/Rhön is the ideal base for both city and nature excursions.
