By car, the popular excursion destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in approx. 10 minutes. At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

From here, many well-known excursion destinations can be quickly reached. For example, Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, Fulda, Bad Neustadt or Würzburg, as well as hiking and bike trails. Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

The sofa-bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. Our cafe has breakfast on weekdays from 6 or 7 o'clock on weekends.

The tiny house for unique days in the Hessian Rhön stands in the large garden next to a second tiny house. From the house and from the terrace you have an unobstructed beautiful view of the valley. The house is fully equipped. It is made up of a bathroom with shower and water toilet, kitchenette, dining table, fold-out sofa, satellite TV, Wi-Fi. A staircase leads to the cozy sleeping area. Our apartment is characterized by the special location with far-reaching views of the Rhön panorama, e.g. water soup and Milseburg. The Ulmenstein extra tour and a star park as well as the Basaltsee Ulmenstein are in the immediate vicinity. The baroque town of Fulda is only 20 km away. There you can explore the beautiful cathedral,the great old town and many other beautiful excursion destinations.

Modern and stylish Rhön home (80 m²)

The apartment (approx. 80 square meters) was completely renovated in 2017 and equipped to a high standard. It is centrally located in the Rhön municipality of Hilders. It is an attic apartment that connects to my parents' residential and commercial building. The first floor as well as the second floor are connected by an open staircase to the attic apartment.
