Fantastic little place, absolutely perfect for our overnight stop in Durham. Everything as described. Had everything we needed. Lovely enclosed garden, perfect for our wee pup. Parking right at front door. Met Nick on arrival, very friendly, helpful. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again!

Lovely cottage, super clean, lovely to get a little pack of cleaning cloths, oven gloves and tea towels. Very easy instructions and quick responses. So private and very peaceful. BEAUTIFUL garden, so lovely to walk around early in the morning with the dog. Extremely safe. Everything you need in this little gem.

A peaceful and relaxing place to stay. 3 nights here and we wished we had longer. The home was clean and comfortable with a nice sized kitchen and dining area. Two nice sized en-suite bedrooms with comfortable beds too!. You’re Surrounded by lovely views no matter where you sit in this home. The host Paula was welcoming, friendly and attentive. Paula offered and set up a travel cot for us prior to our arrival which was very much appreciated, especially when you have to pack so much with a little one. We all loved our weekend here and would book again!.

We loved our stay at Hornbeam House, it was roomy, beautifully clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and it was a really quiet location to sleep. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery and supplies in the kitchen and a full size fridge which would be great for a larger group. Having a washing machine is always such a highlight when travelling. The back garden was beautiful and had a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the serenity. Janet was great to deal with both before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend Hornbeam House.
