Had such a lovely stay at Ashley & Simon's cottage. Me and my boyfriend felt right at home as soon as we got there and both hosts were so friendly from the get go. The decor was stunning and so homely - loved the artwork in the bedroom! Everything we needed was already equipped in the cottage. The bed was SUPER comfy and the hot tub was a great way to end our little week away 😍🛀 Would definitely stay here again if ever in Kelso! Highly recommend! ⭐️

Comfortable home in beautiful surroundings. Really responsive and friendly host. En-suite bathrooms to each bedroom and the beds were super comfy. Great parking and charger for electric car - lovely walks nearby along the river and the horse in the field behind had just given birth to a foal so our daughter was mesmerised. Oh I forgot the hot tub - that was great too!

Such a lovely place to stay, would go back. the house is big and comfy, nice garden, hot tub was a treat. Great hosts, always replied quickly.

Fabulous! We had 6 days at the Old Piggery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts are brilliant and the accommodation equally brilliant too. Peaceful location, well kept gardens, lovely hot tub and there was everything we needed at the accommodation. The hosts also left us some lovely surprises/treats too. Very thoughtful! We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to come home and we will be back again in future. Thank you Sue and Phil!

Beautiful cosy cottage, fabulously decorated and fitted out to a high standard. The location was beautiful and quiet, very rural area. It was an ideal place to get away from everything and relax. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for romantic getaway or just need to get away from the stresses of life for a few days.

A perfect holiday cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. Great views from all the windows and a fantastic garden. It is very warm and welcoming, spotlessly clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Welcome treats were a thoughtful touch and Angela has been a great host. Exceeded our (already high) expectations -- one of the best Airbnb rentals I've stayed in!

Had a fantastic stay at Silver Fox Barn. Came for a last minute mid-week break and was not disappointed. Jonathan was quick to organise everything and very detailed with his instructions. The property itself is lovely, modern but very homely feeling with everything we needed and more. Located in a very pretty and quiet area, but still very close to everywhere you'd like to visit in the area. Also went for dinner at one of the recommended restaurants just 10 minutes drive away and not disappointed. We would gladly recommend and return again in future!

The cottage was exactly what was listed and what we were looking for. The Host was always responsive and friendly with many helpful details. The cottage is cosy and in beautiful surroundings with friendly neighbours. It also is well equipped for short or long stays. We will definitely recommend and hopefully come back soon! Thank you

The cottage is lovely with some thoughtful extras like a head torch and some milk. I loved the location and views. I will definitely come back again.

Could not fault The Hemmel at all. Absolutely beautiful. The accommodation, surroundings and view was exceptional. Ezra our labradoodle loved the enclosed garden. From the greeting off Kate, the beautiful homemade cake and flowers left for us, watching the red squirrel and the beautiful Northumbrian countryside and beaches, there was nothing we did not like about our stay. If we decide to come back to this neck of the woods, this would be our first pick. Five stars and beyond.

Comfortable, clean and tidy cottage in a beautiful location. Fantastic pub on the doorstep (book in advance it’s very popular). Easy access to coast or country. On arrival we found milk in the fridge and Prosecco on the side which provided a nice touch.

I went to Tony’s place to finish the book I’ve been writing. I wanted a clean, well maintained cottage to find peace and quiet and Tony’s cottage was all that and more. Well placed for trips to seahouses, bamburgh, lindisfarne and the wider Northumbrian coast I couldn’t recommend the location or the facilities more highly. Tony communicated with me well so that check in and check out was smooth. A great place to stay.

We had such a lovely break at this beautiful home. The place was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and filled with natural light – it truly felt like a home away from home. Everything we needed (and more!) was provided, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. As a special touch, we were warmly welcomed with freshly baked bread and scones, which went down an absolute treat – such a thoughtful gesture! Loved our 4 night stay! The area is stunning and the accommodation and facilities are perfect to make sure you have a comfortable, relaxing stay. You can literally hear nothing at night and I loved waking up to the view up the hill from the balcony. The garden was excellent for our 2 dogs, plenty big enough for them to have a potter around and secure too. The location was perfect for us, with all the places we wanted to visit within 30 mins drive. Take a quick walk or drive up Wooler Common too, it's so pretty and a shame not to check it out. The cottage is very well equiped and clean plus great towels/bedlinen. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar and of course the delicious lemon drizzle cake were there to great us too. Very nice touch. I can not recommend this place enough, although we'd like to keep it our little secret! We will definitely return some day soon. Didn't need Myles for anything,but I'm sure he would have made sure we were well looked after. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a perfect stay at Findara, it was peaceful, spacious and beautifully decorated. The kids loved it and didn’t want to come home. We loved the open plan kitchen, living area where we could all be together but doing different things. The kids loved playing in the garden. It had everything we needed for our family of 6. Including extra bits all ready for our baby. We cant wait to go back!

This was our first visit to the area and it most certainly won’t be the last. When we come again we will most definitely look to stay in Nanny End; which played a big part in making the holiday such a success. The location was perfect; quiet and peaceful in beautiful surroundings yet within walking distance of the amazing beach and the village. The cottage was warm and inviting and felt like home. It was spotless. The fixtures and fittings were top quality and we loved the spacious kitchen / living area; which we put to good use as we ate in most nights. As much as we loved exploring the area we also liked spending time in the cottage. I could quite happily have spent the whole week there and not use my car once. For those of you who are worried about the cows in the field (as I was) don’t be! Their field is massive so more often than not they are nowhere near where you are walking and you can always walk round the perimeter outside the fence which doesn’t take much longer.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect, peaceful and tucked away yet still convenient for exploring! Had a fantastic 3 night stay at Cloggy’s cottage and will definitely visit again. Cottage was immaculate and enjoyed the log burner to heat ourselves up after boat trips. Very tastefully decorated, welcome basket and fresh roses were a lovely touch. Host was very friendly and made lots of local recommendations for boat trips and restaurants. 10/10!!

We had a really lovely, relaxing week at Cheviot View. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed and it was easy to feel at home here. The views and the birdsong were amazing. We thought we might be a bit far away from places we planned to visit like Alnwick, Bamburgh, Holy Island etc but the position was great and good roads with little traffic made the drives a pleasure. Judith was very friendly and responsive to messages but also left us to enjoy the place by ourselves. We knew we could contact her if we had a problem. 10/10 😁
