Excellent room, the kitchen is super clean and easy to use. The people are friendly and have great recommendations for things to do in the neighborhood. The showers, the room, and the neighborhood are all clean and welcoming. would come back for sure

This place is just perfect for a trip away from Kyoto! The hostel is so tidy and clean and comfy. We received an immediate message upon booking to confirm our plans with check-in details. The staff were very sweet, helpful, and friendly and this was an excellent location in a quieter part of the city – across the river and away from the crowds and perfect to still get to be in Arashiyama. The hostel is walkable to the onsen and provides a couple for a discount for entry!

This is a hostel but not like any hostel in USA. So clean, private, safe, and comfortable. Wang greeted us and made wonderful recommendations so we went to he Monkey Park (WOW) amazing views in their habitat and views, then Hot Springs and Bamboo forest all within walking distance. Ate and drank and local places recommended that we would never have found. Next day - took Uber to Golden Temple. Such a short stay but did so much. Thank you Mulan and Wang! Highly recommend.

The (unfortunately only very short) time with Yusuke and Mariko was very, very nice! We felt right at home, it smelled good and you can tell that they put a lot of energy and heart into the house. Yusuke also gave us many great tips for the area. The neighborhood is cozy and much more pleasant than the city center. Bicycles can also be rented, which is a lot of fun in Kyoto. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back!

Had a great stay here. Everything is clean and everything was as described. I will stay here again the next time I visit Kyoto. highly recommended!

I had a lovely time and it’s a great location - very quiet but close to everywhere you need to be. Walls are thin but wasn’t really an issue and the staff are so lovely!

A very nice place to stay in for a few days, the building is really amazing and the mood of the Cafe and guest house is great !

For the first time alone, I chose a tour, for people who are not required to stay, this is definitely a very good choice. There are things in the hotel, there is also a small kitchen where you can cook, Kiyomizu Temple, Kamogawa, Shijo shopping street, etc. Only walking distance, I am very happy to stay, I will stay here again in Kyoto.Thank you for the hospitality of a few young ladies, English was good, communication was not a problem at all.

Close to Kyoto Station, it was a very pleasant place to stay.

It feels like a good place to be alone, haha. The bed is also very comfortable, but overall it is very convenient!

The accommodation and its facilities were as neat and cozy as the photos, and both the host and guests of the accommodation respected each other and had a pleasant stay. I recommend it if you're looking for a single person accommodation.

This hostel is beautiful - it is decorated in the traditional Japanese style with a little garden, tatami mats, and low tables. It’s close to public transportation and for the price it’s a great experience. The hostel is very clean and I really enjoyed hanging out in the communal spaces. I usually don’t spend much time in the hostels I stay at but this one had a really nice atmosphere & the other guests were great to chat with in the evenings.

It was a late check-in, but the instructions were easy to understand and I was able to enter the room smoothly.I arrived late at night and left early in the morning, so I did not meet the staff, but there was no trouble at all.I think it's thanks to the simple and accurate guidance and the well-organized facilities.I felt that attention was paid to the details, and that it was a wonderful business. In many guest houses where many people come and go, there are many facilities where shoes and personal belongings are scattered, but this place had a system in place to keep things organized. The system of changing into personal slippers was clean and made a very good impression.In addition, there was a bakery nearby that was open early in the morning, so we had no trouble with breakfast and had a pleasant time. I'd love to stay again.Thank you!

I was here for a few nights and really enjoyed my stay. The hostel was clean and neat with a beautiful interior. The staff was very friendly and they were always ready to help out. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place for all backpackers who are looking for some calm days in Kyoto

I think this hostel can be one of the top hostels in the world! Staffs are quite nice and friendly, room is very clean and comfortable, pls choose this hostel you won’t be disappointed!

Really friendly host and comfy bed. Maybe bring earplugs though cause the beds make sound if you're below someone stirring around it's hard to sleep.Also some rude people banging on the stairs and playing their videos out loud but that's not the Airbnb fault. I just was too shy to tell them to be quiet haha

I arrived 2 hours earlier than check-in time. The masseuse was just greeting another customer. I was so grateful for the kind guidance in advance. The hot spring, a 6-minute walk away, is a 4-night, 5-day stay I used it every day. The whole quiet village and most of the places I walked and walked more than 20,000 steps a day. The whole atmosphere of the house is During the day, quiet music flows as BGM The overall scent of the wood was nice. During 4 nights in a cost-effective accommodation There was nothing uncomfortable. But at night, it feels a little cold. The air conditioning was cool. Thanks to the friendly host, Martha I had a very good experience. I plan to visit again in the fall.
