It took us two years to find this quiet building with an elevator, and then another year of good faith negotiations with the landlord to convince him to buy this building, which is really a Japanese building, and you can directly experience 100% of the daily life of the Japanese people! We thoughtfully decorated more than a dozen rooms in this building into different unique styles. The themes of each room were handmade and painted by us. Kyoto Sanjo, where the accommodation is located, is very well located and is very convenient for shopping, sightseeing, and dining. One of the things we are proud of is that we use Shigaraki-yaki pottery, one of the six ancient pots of Japan, in the bathtub so that visitors can spend a wonderful night in Gion. But my favorite time is when there are no people at midnight. The river surface is glittering and magical, like another world. We opened this guest house in October, 2017. It is the middle of downtown in Kyoto. It is 5 minutes walk from Kawaramachi station(Hankyu line). From Shijo station, it is 10 minutes walk. From Shijo station to Kyoto station is 4 minutes by subway. Our guest house is next to Shin-kyogoku dori, there are many restaurants, souvenir shops, convenient stores, fashion items, 100yen stores.... It is easy to access to Nishiki-ichiba(we called the kitchen of Kyoto, market), Teramachi dori, Gion on foot.
