Authentic detached house full of atmosphere and equipped with all the comforts. Wooden floors, a modern kitchen, a private sauna in the bathroom and 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor with excellent beds give atmosphere and luxury. The spacious living with spacious Chesterfield sofa overlooks the Winsumerdiep. Onderdendam is a beautiful village 12 km away from the city of Groningen and has a protected village view. Our 2-pers. Canadian canoe and our 3 bikes are available for rent for a reasonable price.

Life rhythm simple living close to nature!

The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

The cottage (about 45 m2) has a living room with French doors to the garden, kitchen, shower/toilet, 2 bedrooms (1 in separate garden shed/room) , large sunny garden all around with also a lovely covered veranda. Take a break back in this unique, soothing place to stay at the brand new summer home. The cottage was delivered in 2023 and has everything you need. Wonderful bedrooms, a modern kitchen, a nice living room and beautiful nature. There is WIFI, TV, underfloor heating, modern kitchen and no less than 3 bedrooms. It is 1 of the most beautiful places on the lake with the particularly beautiful evening sun over the beautiful Paterswoldsemeer. It is a rare and quiet spot.

There are many possibilities to explore the area: walking, cycling or by boat. Our vacation home is located in a nature reserve. The house with lots of privacy is located on a large private property with parking spaces.
