Historical Water Tower Montabaur

Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. It's probably the weirdest way to stay overnight! Our historic house is now 337 years old and more leaning than the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but it's still a great place to sleep. Located in the historic old town of Dreieichenhain and yet a very quiet location. Optimal connection to Frankfurt, Offenbach, Darmstadt etc.: Bus and train can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. Dreieich-Dreieichenhain is very well connected to federal roads and motorways.

The apartment in the Hasen-Haus is located not far from Lake Affoldern, right at the entrance to the Kellerwald National Park – the perfect start to wonderful hikes. It is about 2 km to Lake Edersee. Around the lake there are countless leisure activities for all ages: the wildlife park, the summer toboggan run, a treetop trail, the climbing park, bike tours, water sports and swimming on and in the lake, a canoe tour on the Eder and much more.
