Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hermosa Beach

Overall great stay and comfortable for our group. However some cautionary items to be aware of. The driveway to reach to the top of the property is quite steep, and in the rain the car skidded and wouldn’t get to the top of the hill. Need to have a vehicle if you’re going in and out with luggage. Good bit of wildlife you will encounter in the rooms and bathroom. There is only a hot water heater in the main bathroom.

We had the loveliest time at this beachfront house. The pool is gorgeous - not too warm or cold. It was so refreshing to relax in the pool and stare at the waves. The house is in the best part of Esterillos, right in front of the “mermaid” and the tide pools. The house is well designed and makes use of all the spaces. It was clean and well equipped. You can also walk to the nearby store and there are a few good restaurants just a block or two away walking along the beach. It was an amazing place to share with family, we will be back!

This place was amazing! We have stayed in hermosa many times and love the area. This trip we traveled with 6 couples and a few kids and had plenty of space. The open area common area is big enough for everyone and having the pool was amazing. We truly appreciated the daily maid service and the recommendation for a private chef was incredible. Liza cooked us 5 breakfasts and 3 dinners and all were spectacular, on time, and had plenty of food for everyone (always had leftovers). Not having to waste time grocery shopping or doing dishes was a huge plus! For anyone who may book her just a heads up that the expectation is to pay for groceries after each meal (she provides receipt) and then you’ll pay the service charge at the last meal (it’s very reasonable). It was a little tough for us to communicate so took us some time to put that info together. Figured it’d help someone else! 10000% want to come back and stay here.

This was the absolute perfect home base to explore this part of Costa Rica. The house was stunning, exactly like photos and descriptions. Pool area was an unbeatable oasis and we did get lots of monkey visits! Comfortable beds, amazing bathrooms with great water temp and pressure, stocked kitchen and awesome patio space for meals and hangouts. Corner store literally at the end of our driveway was so convenient. Laura the concierge was amazing, so responsive, helpful friendly! I couldn’t be happier with the experience and will be recommending Matthew’s place to anyone I know visiting the area. I would absolutely stay here again and hope I’m able to return soon!

This was our second time staying at this villa, and once again, it was a wonderful experience! We felt completely safe staying here with our 4-month-old baby, the 24/7 security gave us great peace of mind. The house was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The AC units worked perfectly and kept the rooms nice and cool, which was a big plus. We also loved having the pool right next to the villa, it was clean and well-maintained. Overall, a fantastic stay and we’ll definitely be back again!

Everything was perfect! The location and the house all met our expectations. Danny & the team were always kind and approachable. When we found that wasps were building a nest at the house, the team was there within an hour and the issue was resolved immediately. The pool was clean and in the best condition. We had the best vacation and would be happy to come back!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. We especially enjoyed hanging around the pool and deck area. The host even had a few pool toys set out and our kids loved them. Beds are very comfortable and the house is stocked with everything you need. Esterillos is a very quiet place away from the crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was in an excellent location, it is very safe, nice and comfortable. We loved how they take care of every detail of the house. In addition, communication was excellent from the beginning. It's definitely a place we'd love to return to!

It's not my first time. I've been here before. It's super clean, nice and safe. I loved it.

First we were received with some chocolates! I loved it. The apartment was great—clean and neat, with only what we needed. It was the perfect place to stay, near the beach and ideal for relaxation. The space was well-organized and spacious enough to feel comfortable inside the apartment. The mattresses were great for a good night's rest, and each room had individual temperature control. The view from every room was fantastic, and the sound of the sea could be heard from the balcony. At sunrise, the view of the entire bay, combined with the sound of birds, was enchanting. From the balcony, it was easy to appreciate when the conditions were good for surfing. The apartment was located in a private area, and the shared property was well maintained. The beach was just a short walk from the property, and the commercial area—with great restaurants—was also nearby. This is a fantastic choice for a stay.

David was more than helpful with an easy early check in, and he sent an amazing list of things to prepare for, local recommendations and places to see along with some to avoid. His communication was clear, helpful, and very responsive. it was a pleasure to use his space during my trip.

Our stay with Brian was amazing! The bungalow had everything we needed. Great shower, comfortable bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. The location is perfect, with the beach just across the street. The complex is also really cool, with a large pool. Brian was a fantastic host, always available when we needed something or had questions. We'd definitely stay here again in the future!

Highly recommended! In all ways

I had a great stay in this apartment in Playa Jacó. The place is very quiet, perfect for resting, and it is well located to enjoy the beach without the hustle and bustle. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and the price was fair for everything it offered. Would definitely recommend and come back in the future.

Josephine communicated clearly and timely. The condo met my family's need. We needed a place to relax after some days of intense hikes in other regions. The pool was lovely and right outside our door. We watched surfers on the beach though the rough waters and rocky beach did not avail sun-soaking or swimming.

We stayed with my family of four for five nights and the apartment was as comfortable as expected. It is located in a very secure condominium steps from the main road. Some of the bonuses of the place are in suite laundry, beach chairs and one beach umbrella. The pool was also very enjoyable. Fiorella was also very responsive when we asked for beach towels. Just a couple of minor things to consider: there are not much cabinet storage at the kitchen. Also to be mindful that the smaller room does not have a window but a skylight that lacks blinds (it gets very bright very early in the morning). All in all, we definitely recommend Fiorella’s place.
