The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Normandy. The Gite was perfect for us and our 19 month old son and we really appreciated the cot, high chair and stair gates provided. We were extremely lucky with the weather so enjoyed the amazing pool and played many games of Pétanque. Highly recommend and we would love to return.

My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. Well-equipped, clean house, terrace and upstairs bedroom with sea view. Ideally located. Barely a 3-minute walk to the beach and beachfront restaurants. We had a lovely stay.

We stayed here as a family (my wife, our daughter and I), and really enjoyed our time. The house is spacious, easily big enough for two families. The location is excellent: it’s on a quiet little street, but just a few minutes’ walk to a beautiful, wide beach. Shops, restaurants and the town center are all within walking distance too, which made everything super convenient. Inside, the living room and kitchen on the ground floor are very comfortable and well-equipped, and the terrace with a BBQ and outdoor seating was a great place to relax in the evenings. All in all, a great stay and everything was smooth and easy. We’d be happy to come back again!

We had a wonderful little stay in "the shell"🐚, a small, very nicely decorated, comfortable, impeccable studio! Its garden and garden furniture allowed us to live as much outside as inside, and fortunately with the hot weather! You are close to everything, supermarket, good restaurants, beach, very nice Baleine park. Mylène is a very responsive and accommodating host, enough to make the whole experience magical ✨ Ps: our little dog loved it too 🐶

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!

The appartment was very cozy and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Ouistreham is a nice village with more than enough shops and restaurants and the location of the appartment is great. Would book again!

Valérie’s place was exceptional! Every little detail was beautifully catered for from the quality linen to the yummy French teas and coffee pods. Valérie was the friendliest host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and gave us so much local information and points of interest. We were sad to say goodbye. My friends and I had an amazing stay in this house. All supplies were provided. The pool was always the right temperature and there was a lot to do in the region. The hosts were very friendly and communicative.

Good value house in the middle of Lion sur Mer. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are super comfortable. There could be a bit more chilling space, the seating area is a bit limited. For us it wasn't a problem as we were lucky with the very un-Normand weather - but if it had been raining a lot and we had had to spend more time inside, it could have been a bit harder, especially for the kids. The whole house overall is a bit on the small-ish side - but then again, everything you need is there. The heating works very well, a bit too well at times - as the house can feel quite cold, it blasts hot air, which is great for not feeling cold, but can feel a bit suffocating. I'm nit picking, clearly, but we had a great time in the house, and would definitely come back for another stay.

Awesome stay in this cute house! So so clean with lovely linens. Great kitchen set up- we loved the juicer for orange pressé! Amazing having the gym and used badminton rackets for some evening fun. Really easy to get to a little town for bread and croissants, vegetables and even a mini market. We visited Bayeux, Deauville and Honfleur really easily and it was lovely to come out of the towns and back to this house! Thank you- we loved it!!

If you want to visit the landing beaches and return to a peaceful and quiet place, this small apartment is ideally well arranged. Communication with Greg is excellent.
