Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Hermanville-sur-Mer

I was visiting Normandy for the fourth time to visit my uncle and godfather's grave a few miles away at Douvre la Delivrande and the British Normandy memorial along the coast at Ver-sur-mer. It was a 500m walk to the memorials and the beach at Hermanville-sur-mer and we also visited Lion-sur-mer about 1500m in a westerly direction along the beach

Excellent location for the D Day beaches or just for a beach holiday in Langrune. The house is quirky and may not suit everyone because of steep stairs and the layout, but it worked fine for the four adults in our party. The baker and butcher in the village are brilliant and the general store and greengrocers are more than adequate. Cathy and Nicholas were very heloful with recommendations of places to eat. We had a wonderful holiday as a result.

Great stay, ideal location to visit the D Day area, very quiet, clean, and as everything as listed on air b and b.

The accommodation is cozy and very comfortable, just a 10-minute walk from the beach and the outside is a real plus. We enjoyed the little attention that Fanny and Julien had upon arrival. We would highly recommend it.

Delphine is very friendly, responsive and flexible. Its chalet, independent, modern and well-equipped, with a beautiful terrace and a beautiful garden is exceptional because it is well located, doubly: on one side, a private and enclosed access and on the other side, access to all the amenities of a campsite, opposite the other side of the street. In addition, it has a quadruple exposure with windows everywhere. We immediately feel at home there. Note that Delphine is demanding in terms of the care that must be taken with her home and its amenities. But that didn't pose any problem for us because we ourselves are very careful and respectful. In short, we had a great time, we'll be happy to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of space, well equipped, very comfortable beds and a perfect location! We walked to the Sword Beach Memorial Service early on the anniversary. Our visit to the local British Military Cemetery (again we walked) was very moving. Ideal for getting out and about and we visited numerous historical places; Caen, Bayeux, Omaha Beach, Pégasus Bridge - it was great and so nice to go back to a comfortable home and share the evening. We ought to add that the beach, which is on the doorstep, is beautiful and sandy, only one of us was brave enough to go in the sea though 😁. We would recommend to anyone looking for a D-Day beaches trip.

Isabelle and Alain are extremely attentive and discreet hosts at the same time. The house is very nice: remarkably clean, neat decor, good bedding and a well-equipped kitchen. The exterior is peaceful overlooking a lovely garden not overlooked. We had a great time at Renée's on their recommendation, thank you! We'll be happy to go back!

We visited for the 81st D-Day celebrations. Perfectly placed for anyone visiting Sword Beach, Pegasus Bridge, Merville Battery, Hillman and Caen. Stephanie was extremely helpful and let us know about several local events. The clean modern accommodation was perfect for a short or longer stay and there were as many leaflets and guides that were provided that would put many Tourist Information offices to shame! All in all I would highly recommend the accommodation. Information Information

My husband and I just spent two delicious weeks at Miguel and Karine's. The apartment is very functional and warm, and of exemplary cleanliness. They are very attentive hosts and really keen to make their nice accommodation as hospitable as possible. Nothing is missing: there are even some very well-chosen indoor and outdoor books and games! The location with sea view is really very nice: very quiet and in a nice residence. Impossible to get bored even if you want to forget the car: just a few steps away, there is the nautical club and the beautiful promenade along the beach (for pedestrians and bikes) and which goes from the resorts of Lion sur Mer to the center of Ouistreham with a seaport and various museums... and nearby: a very good restaurant and a small beach bar for ice cream and pancakes: very nice! It was a great discovery and we hope to come back!

Very nice accommodation, exactly as described, ideal location for visiting Caen and its surroundings, very good communication with Guihaume, Caroline and their son Antoine, a more than perfect welcome, and very good contact during the stay where we shared common interests (sport, leisure etc.) Thanks for the service provided (marathon) We would recommend this accommodation and its Owners without hesitation

We had an incredible stay at this beachfront Airbnb! The location is absolutely unbeatable — you literally open the back gate and step right onto the sand. It was such a treat to wake up and be at the beach within seconds. The house itself was spotless and really well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the bathroom was stocked with all the essentials. The kids loved the dedicated room and play area — it made the whole stay even more relaxing for us. It’s hard to find a place that offers this kind of location and comfort at such great value. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

A real little cocoon, nicely decorated, with a magnificent view (seagulls, boats...)! We really enjoyed the balcony/veranda where we enjoyed having our meals. The apartment is very clean and very well-equipped. The bedding is excellent, we slept very well. It feels like home. Lots to do nearby without taking the car. We were able to recharge our electric vehicle right in front of the residence, outside, it's very convenient. We had a great time at Delphine and Hervé's, who are very caring hosts.

I was in Caen for a conference so I didn't enjoy the accommodation or the beautiful little garden much, but everything worked perfectly. Guillaume, who I met, is a great host!

nice apartment, everything you need. The garden was great in the great weather. The landlady is super nice, always writing to see if everything is okay. We walked to the sea about 2km if at all, so a great location. The city was very close. We are happy to recommend it. There's nothing to complain about, always happy to come back. Very tastefully furnished apartment on the first floor with large terrace. All as described with very good seating and sleeping furniture(!) Bedroom with shutters. Secure parking space for cars on locked premises. Overall quiet location with short walks to the sea and to boulangerie, restaurants, shops and market hall.

We had a great time in a spotless apartment, recently renovated, with sea views. No car needed, everything is within walking distance, we enjoyed the dike and the sandy beach. Thanks to Christelle for her welcome, guidelines and advice.

Beautiful views and well-catered. Check in was easy with Katrin who spoke very good English, which was good because our French isn't great! Cabourg itself is lovely and only a 5-10 min walk away.
