House vacation rentals in Hermanville-sur-Mer

Hele fijne host, reageert snel, flexibel, vriendelijk. Huis was perfect voor de groep waarmee wij waren (4 volwassenen, 3 kinderen). Alles was aanwezig. Konden alles gebruikend tot aan tafeltennis, spelletjes, wasmachine, Netflix, zwembad. In keuken ook alles aanwezig. Als je voor de D day bezienswaardigheden komt, kan je prima alles vanuit hier rijden. Dichtbij bakker en supermarkt en leuke strandtentjes.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La maison est très confortable et bien décorée. Enfin la maison est bien située, très centrale pour rayonner dans les différents villages.

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. Un excellent gîte, très original avec sa grande piscine intérieure qui a bien plu à toute la famille. La maison est une demeure ancienne pleine de charme et très bien restaurée. La cuisine bien équipée et le jardin très agréable . La commune est exactement à mi chemin entre Caen et la Suisse Normande ( 15mn) Enfin super accueil, amical et réactif. Merci encore et à bientôt

Nous avons passé un super moments chez Arnaud et Jessica. Leur accueil était impeccable, le gîte était parfait, c'était mieux que ce qu'on espérait. Merci pour la bouteille de cidre, ainsi que votre réactivité durant tout le séjour. Le bain nordique est un vrai + Nous avons profité du terrain de tennis, du ping pong et de la piscine. Le jardin est entretenu avec amour. Nous vous recommandons ce logement, très spécial pour une parenthèse agréable. Merci pour tout !

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Normandy. The Gite was perfect for us and our 19 month old son and we really appreciated the cot, high chair and stair gates provided. We were extremely lucky with the weather so enjoyed the amazing pool and played many games of Pétanque. Highly recommend and we would love to return.

Valérie’s place was exceptional! Every little detail was beautifully catered for from the quality linen to the yummy French teas and coffee pods. Valérie was the friendliest host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and gave us so much local information and points of interest. We were sad to say goodbye. Definitely the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

I was visiting Normandy for the fourth time to visit my uncle and godfather's grave a few miles away at Douvre la Delivrande and the British Normandy memorial along the coast at Ver-sur-mer. It was a 500m walk to the memorials and the beach at Hermanville-sur-mer and we also visited Lion-sur-mer about 1500m in a westerly direction along the beach

We had a wonderful couple of days at Jose and Muriel's beautiful house. The location was perfect with very easy walk to beach or shops and was very peaceful. There was a misunderstanding about our arrival time (entirely my fault) but Jose was very quick to resolve any issues and we were in within 10 minutes. The house itself was immaculately clean and tidy and very well equipped. Beds were super comfy. Our only gripe was that there was no toilet upstairs but that was such a minor thing! We also loved the garden which is an absolute sun trap.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux petit séjour dans « le coquillage »🐚, petit studio très joliment décoré, confortable, impeccable ! Son jardin et mobilier de jardin nous ont permis de vivre autant dehors que dedans, et heureusement avec les grosses chaleurs ! Vous êtes à proximité de tout, supermarché, bonnes tables, plage, très joli parc de la Baleine. Mylène est une hôte très réactive et arrangeante, de quoi rendre toute l’expérience magique ✨ Ps: notre petite chienne a adorée aussi 🐶

Si vous souhaitez visiter les plages du débarquement et revenir dans un endroit paisible et tranquille ce petit appartement est idéal bien agencé la communication avec Greg est excellente

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!

The appartment was very cozy and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Ouistreham is a nice village with more than enough shops and restaurants and the location of the appartment is great. Would book again!

The property and hosts were both excellent, we had a great time visiting an appreciated the private and beautiful location. It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be truly wonderful people. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Phil’s place. There was everything you needed for a fantastic stay, it was really clean and the beds were so comfortable. The location was perfect for visiting many of the D Day sights, we were even able to walk to Sword Beach. There’s a supermarket and a lovely boulangerie again within walking distance. We contacted Phil as we had a problem with one of our motorcycles and he came straight around and gave us information that dealt with the problem. He was so very helpful and a really friendly nice person. We look forward to returning.

Good value house in the middle of Lion sur Mer. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are super comfortable. There could be a bit more chilling space, the seating area is a bit limited. For us it wasn't a problem as we were lucky with the very un-Normand weather - but if it had been raining a lot and we had had to spend more time inside, it could have been a bit harder, especially for the kids. The whole house overall is a bit on the small-ish side - but then again, everything you need is there. The heating works very well, a bit too well at times - as the house can feel quite cold, it blasts hot air, which is great for not feeling cold, but can feel a bit suffocating. I'm nit picking, clearly, but we had a great time in the house, and would definitely come back for another stay.
