A lovely, cozy (complete privacy) vacation home in the beautiful Frisian water sports village of Woudsend. The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district; you will be staying with the harbor master of Woudsend, Corine. The cottage's flower garden (butterfly garden) offers plenty of privacy and is situated right below the 't Lam corn mill. Come here to relax with your loved one, away from the hustle and bustle; you will find peace and quiet here, and you will be awakened by the titmouses, blackbirds, and sparrows (sometimes on Sundays by the church bells). The 3 apartments at De Opper in Heeg are bright and fully furnished. In the cozy living room, there is also the open kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, induction cooktop and oven. Upstairs are 2 spacious double bedrooms and the bathroom with shower and toilet. There is floor heating. On the terrace, you can sunbathe and enjoy. If you do not come by boat, but want to get on the water, you can rent a sloop or sailboat. Ask the host about the possibilities.

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful location with the garden on open water, the Weisleat, in the middle of the Frisian lake area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electric boat! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh rolls. But a day trip on the Frisian lakes is also a quiet sensation!

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together.
