This beautiful, recently renovated home is out in the country down a dead-end road, but still only a few miles from the town of Ladysmith. It is about a mile from a little county park on the Dairyland Reservoir, only a few miles from the local golf course, and just down the road from hopping on the snowmobile trail in the winter. Relax with family and friends at a Northwoods retreat. The cabin is a newer build at the end of a quiet road near the start line for the Prince Haakon cross country ski race. It can accommodate large groups with as many as 12 in the cabin on beds and pull out furniture (plus a bunkhouse). Connect to CAMBA mountain bike and American Birkebeiner Nordic ski trails from the front door, through private trails and the Mosquito Brook trailhead. Entire cottage to yourself with a magnificent lake view. We have 315 feet of lakeshore located on 4 acres on Island Lake. We have a private dock. Our 900 square ft cottage has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, and a couch that opens up into a bed. A fire pit is available, ( wood furnished), along with a canoe and 2 kayaks You can fish off the dock or bring your own boat. A pontoon boat is available for rent. We will except two dogs.

We are about 5 miles from the Birkie trail parking and access.
