Monthly Rentals in Hawkridge

A really homely cottage in a beautiful location. It was bigger than it had looked in the photos, was spotless and really cosy. The instructions were really helpful pre-arrival and the handbook useful once we were there. When we asked for a couple more towels, the hosts brought them to us within 10 minutes and generously provided more than we’d asked for. The surroundings were great for dogs and children too. Will definitely go back and have already recommended it to friends & family.

Amazing bolt hole, close to amenities in the village. Perfect location. Everything was just fabulous. The bedlinen and pillows are perfect and super comfy. We would love to return sometime to experience the surrounding areas, without having to dash off to a shearing course! It’s really easy to find, great explanations and everything needed in a compact and bijoux way. Thank you so much!

Neither James nor the house can take responsibility for the weather, but what we had was unendingly spectacular. 7 straight days of sunshine while, apparently, it rained in Spain. This is VERY unusual for the area, but really made the moore and farmland surrounding the cottage shine. Even if it had rained and been blustery, the cottage is fitted with an excellent heating system and a wood fire in the living room. Hotwater for the kitchen and bathrooms is prompt and plentiful. Recently renovated with good (rather than cheap) furniture choices made, the house is in great shape. The kitchen was well stocked and while the oven was a bit mysterious to operate, everything worked well. Pastoral by day, truly dark sky by night, and a strong selection of both gastro-pubs and wonderful footpaths on which to reach them right out the door from the property.
