Very good hospitality from Maxime in a quiet and peaceful environment. A little extra that can't be seen in the photos and the listing, the pool is safe for children with a fence all around!

The place is very nice and large and met our expectations. Unfortunately, you have the feeling that the host gives too many instructions/prohibitions (signs on doors, windows or messages via smartphone), which can quickly make you feel annoyed.

The villa perfectly matches the description, it is very pleasant to live in and it is very well-equipped. Henri is a very friendly, responsive and caring host.

Thanks to the location of the accommodation, we were able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees with beautiful sunrise and sunset. The accommodation is as described: spacious, bright, comfortable and functional.. it feels like home!!! The calm of the places surrounded by nature is conducive to rest or beautiful walks. and for lovers of sliding the resorts are an hour's drive away. Thank you for the welcome from Alain and his wife. Had the most gorgeous long weekend at Charlottes beautiful place (honestly the better than the photographs if that’s possible) celebrating my 30th birthday with my friends and family. The house is stunning and perfect to entertain such a large group so comfortably. The indoor/outdoor areas are just lovely to all spend time together without being on top of each other. We hired a caterer, but the kitchen is well equipped and such a fabulous space! Charlotte was really helpful and made arrivals and departures easy, she was also on hand with local knowledge such as activities and taxi numbers. Would definately recommend La Rivière to anyone looking for a large group holiday location.

Sure! Here’s a shorter, more informal version of your review: --- We had an amazing stay at this château in the tiny village of Castelnau-Picampeau, about an hour’s scenic drive south of Toulouse. It’s even more impressive in person than in the photos—grand gates, a big fountain out front, and beautiful lawns make for a stunning first impression. The inside is just as special—spacious, full of character, and flooded with natural light when the shutters are open. Every room feels palatial, and the views of the gardens are lovely. There’s loads of space outside too, including a woodland area the kids loved, and a gorgeous pool with a shaded eating area, outdoor kitchen, and even a volleyball/badminton net. The place has everything you need. We were looked after by a lovely couple who live on-site and were always around to help if we needed anything. One day we used the bikes provided to explore the surrounding hills, and another day we visited Carcassonne—highly recommend!

We had a very peaceful and relaxing time at the house. The beatiful outside area and pool were a highlight. We also enjoyed the cinema room. The air conditioning was very welcome as it was so hot. It is a very quiet village and amenities are a short drive away. We were really impressed with how responsive the host was.

On our roadtrip we stayed with the family in Charlottes beautiful house. Everything was perfect, lovely nature, clean and spacious rooms, nice sauna - even more beautiful than on the pictures! The area is a great starting point for hiking adventures as well as to see the (shooting) stars at night. Charlotte and her boyfriend are super friendly and helpful. There is a lot of private space, beautiful bathrooms, comfortable beds and the wifi works great even for online meetings!! We would love to come back and stay for longer. Absolutely recommended :)

Very good stay at this accommodation which is a big part of it. Everything is there, it is spacious and cozy, the activities are multiple which makes this place a perfect place for a family stay. The environment is peaceful and perfect for a nice outage. We were 13 including 7 children and we all loved this stay and enjoyed this very comfortable, sublime and simple house at the same time. We thoroughly enjoyed a couple at weeks in Audrey’s property. Audrey’s stylish home is in a calm location and is very well equipped with everything you need for a home away from home. We enjoyed using the pool and having the air conditioning for the very hot days. Home grown tomatoes and courgettes were available to pick as they ripened. Our daughter loves cats, so having Pearl and Maya around the house was an enjoyable plus.
