Idyllic log cabin at the end of the road by the lake. The cottage is well equipped and suitable for year-round use. Kitchen and living room, a warming fireplace, sleeping alcove and two separate beds on the upper floor. Possibility to rent an outdoor guest room for two people in addition. (4+2) The cottage has electricity and running water from the well. Wood-fired sauna and shower. In the yard area, there is a private hot tub (use for an additional fee) and a barbecue hut, as well as a clean outdoor toilet. An old rowboat is available.

Here you will admire the deer in the evening fire and wake up in the morning to birdsong or chicken eagles. Welcome to our private cottage to enjoy your stay! Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included (airfryer, no oven), big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you.

Just a 35-minute drive from Helsinki and airport, in the forrest of our House Kekkapaa ; a perfect romantic weekend getaway if you want to enjoy a private wood-fired sauna( only in your use ) , the peaceful Espoo countryside, and the surrounding nature. We are within walking distance of Lake Myllyjärvi and Backby Manor with its spa and restaurant services. On our farm, you’ll also find dogs, horses, a cat, and chickens. The cabin was originally designed by an architect family for themselves.
