Family-friendly vacation rentals in Harrogate

Lovely stay in York, being able to leave the car in a private spot during the day and walk to the town centre was definitely a bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple cooking and the bathroom was very clean. We didn’t get bothered by neighbours or outside noise during the night so that was perfect ! Gary gave very clear instructions and was quick to respond whenever I messaged him. Would definitely recommend !

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely space, the flat was ideal for us and very well described in the listing. It is in a peaceful area in north Leeds, and suited us well as we could walk to meet our family. Patrick was a very responsive host, who communicated well, and left clear instructions in the flat. The space is clutter free and modern, and it was nice to have supplies in the fridge.

We are always surprised when searching then stumble across a place like Crabtree Barn. it was fantastic perfect in every way. The pictures do not do it justice. Great outdoor area, views are perfect and the area quiet.

Lovely place, everything you could want. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, soft fluffy towels, great balcony. Really appreciated the milk,tea and coffee and cooking oil etc. Nicely laid out apartment with some personlised paintings on the walls We really enjoyed our stay would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at barn elm lodge! The house was massive and easily accommodated the 10 of us with so much space and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Host very responsive and friendly

Pauline and Graham were truly awesome hosts. A warm couple who are passionate about the home and family and who were so welcoming. The kennel offers more than enough space, was pristine throughout and beautifully decorated. We loved our stay at the kennel, pity we did not travel with our dogs as we know they would also have been welcome! Graham we also loved your beautiful garden. Thank you for the tour !

Molly and Dean's s place was just perfect for my daughter and I - a beautiful, comfortable "home from home" place! We had everything we needed and the place was filled with lovely thoughtful items that we both really appreciated. The kitchen had all the necessities and the addition of tea/coffee/milk/bread/butter/jam/hot chocolate felt like a very lovely gesture. The location was just what I hoped for and we had a great time! We will definitely be back to the Hill View! Thank you very much, Molly and Dean!

I've stayed in this wonderful cottage so many times that I've lost count. John and his lovely family never disappoint in their attention to detail and always arrive to a spotless home with a full kitchen, crisp high-end linens and cozy beds, thoughtful welcome goodies and a fatastic view. Already looking forward to another trip back!

Fabulous property, the photos do not do it justice. As per previous reviews, the property was spotless and generously stocked with branded, not cheap, kitchen and bathroom products. The bed/pillows were so comfortable. The wraparound garden was beautiful and well maintained, it was a delight watching the birds (again, well stocked bird food to top up the feeders). We found the location to be a good central base for travelling to many tourist locations, and it was always a pleasure to return to such a clean and comfortable home. We cannot wait to return.

The Shippen was a perfect little barn to stay in for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of life. Incredible value, beautiful interiors, huge beds and stunning views. We didn’t want to leave, and absolutely will be back. Felt like home right away. Thank you so much for having us!

An amazing beautiful house in a wonderful location! Stunning Victorian townhouse in a great location close to the centre and everything walkable. Lovely restaurants n your doorstep - would reccommend Valentino’s. The house has everything you need and if you have a little one, they literally have everything to keep them happy, books, playhouse, play kitchen, toys, literally everything. Great sized beds, beautiful lounge - me and my extended family had a great weekend. Hosts were really great, very helpful with lots of hints and tips for local places and places to visit. A perfect stay in York :-)

Hi Cath Thank you for a lovely stay in your gorgeous barn. It was perfect for our needs and we had a really lovely time at Bramham. Our horse did well cross country - clear over a big course, but he had 3 show jumps down - not his forte!! I hope your grand-daughter got to see him. Just what we were looking for - long scenic walks in beautiful surroundings. The flat was so lovely and was comfortable with everything we needed - with wonderful views. Perfect get away.

Elaine and Stan were very friendly and helpful….we needed to stay for acouple of weeks and it work out for us. We have two pets 🐕 with us and the surroundings were great for walks also beautiful views. Highly recommended this place if your looking for quiet, peaceful, surroundings ❤️

We were here for a conference; me, my wife, and a friend / colleague. The space was great, very clean and bright - I've seen a few reviews saying brighter than expected for a basement apartment - very much agree with this. The bed was super comfy, towels big and soft, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only slight frustration/ concern/ oddity ... was the frosted glass used as a wall for both the bathroom and the single bedroom - so not super private. Also, no lock on the bathroom door, plus it swings both ways. This meant our friend / colleague felt she couldn't use the shower, and instead opted to use the shower attachment over the bath in her en-suite. It also made my wife and I a little self-conscious about showering / using the toilet! Other than that, all good!

We stayed for a festival at Heaton park and this location worked well for links to the city and the Park with free parking on site too. The accommodation was as described and clean and welcoming. Thembalani was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

We stayed for 2 nights to attend our daughter's graduation. The flat was perfect for our group of 4 adults and very well located for the university and for eating out in the evenings. Wish we had had more time to go to the Art Gallery and do some shopping as well! Would stay there again.

We had a really great stay in Cocoa Suites. Clean, quiet, really handy for the city, and great secure parking. Would definitely stay again.

What an absolutely stunning location! We wanted a relaxing break and this is exactly what we got. Vicki and Tom have created something really special. The Hayloft is small yet had everything we needed for a family of 5. There were plenty of books and games to enjoy. Vicki greeted us at the door, making us feel welcome and had left us some homemade treats. The kids had a blast, exploring the grounds, playing on the trampoline and climbing the nearby hill to catch a glimpse of the fighter jets flying overhead. There was a lovely walk to the river and you can roam freely over the fields. We enjoyed watching the sheep and horses roam and also saw deer, rabbits, frogs and kestrels. The house has a view of the Settle-Carlisle railway so we enjoyed a bit of train spotting too. There was so much to soak up before we even thought about heading out. The nearby town of Kirkby Stephen had plenty of shops and we enjoyed a meal from The Mango Tree Indian. We would 100% recommend a stay here!

Amazing find. Excellent, quirky, central location off stonegate. Comfortable stay for a family of four. Loved all the retro furniture and arcade games! The breakfast pack was outstanding! Set us all up for exploring the city. Will definitely stay again.
