Such an amazing stay, I couldn’t recommend this Airbnb enough! The location is perfect for disconnecting and relaxing, the pod is beautiful with great amenities. We loved the outdoor facilities and making the most of the countryside. Made a very special birthday trip. Would definitely love to come back again - thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was really beautifully decorated with great attention to detail—it felt cozy and inviting from the moment we arrived. The hot tub was a lovely touch and made the experience even more relaxing. The host was very responsive and made sure everything we needed was available. Overall, it was so comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

This was my 2nd visit to the Lodge & once again really loved it, as did my hubby. Pristine , comfortable with beautiful views . A lovely walk along the river into Haworth . Enjoyed the complimentary gifts & will definitely return in the future. Thanks so much Vicky 😊

We’ve just returned from Lapwing Lodge. Beautiful location, very peaceful and the facilities were everything we needed. The photos don’t do it justice. The cabin was spotless and the hottub was a great bonus. Arrived to a very easy check in and we were even given until midday to leave on the departure date. Would definitely be interested in returning in the future.

AMAZING LONG WEEKEND! My partner and I went away for a little getaway and this was the perfect place. The lodge was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Felt so homely and cozy!! The place was super clean and offered all the amenities needed. The outdoor area is the perfect area with the hot tub, total privacy and a wonderful space to use. Sophie was so helpful leading up to the booking and was always very quick to respond. The location is superb with only being a 30 minute drive to the centre of York! Very peaceful location and will 100% be returning to this lodge!

What a beautiful lodge, set in a beautiful place! The site was absolutely lovely. Everything you needed the lodge had. The instructions booklet was very helpful as we had 3 children with us and a dog so looking for activities to suit us all. Overall a lovely stay, we will most definitely be returning maybe just the grown ups this time lol for abit more of a relax xx

We had a great weekend in Jennie’s cabin. It is located in such a beautiful setting, very peaceful and scenic. The cabin offers a large entertaining space with plenty of amenities. The beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was a fantastic indulgence to chill in on a cold evening. We will definitely be returning next year.

Great location and accommodation

This is a gem of a place! Beautifully calm and so peaceful. Exactly what we needed to celebrate my stepdad’s 50th, just the four of us. The place was SO well equipped and everything was super easy to find. Will absolutely be coming back if we’re looking in the area again!

In one word curlew lodge was a mini “heaven”. Perfect spot for relaxing with family. It had a beautiful atmosphere inside and out. Especially the view from the window that’s amazing. The lodge was well equipped with all amenities, well organised kitchen, spotless environment. I would like to highlight the way julia gave clear instructions to reach the lodge was amazing, it was really helpful. Honestly I miss that place , me and my partner felt so comfortable in there. I recommend it to all of you guys.

Just home from a wonderful stay! Clear Instructions, beautiful decor, spotless.. The village is lovely and Martin the host was very responsive throughout with any information l may have needed prior to the stay.. Lots of added extras which was a lovely touch.. We had a couple of very relaxing days away at this cozy lodge. Would definitely return, great surroundings and a nice town close by. Clean and well equipped lodge with great views all round.

We had the most magical stay at the Delph Donkey. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by Nigel, whose hospitality made us feel right at home. The setting is absolutely fascinating - charming, peaceful, and full of character. The carriage itself is stunning: beautifully restored, luxuriously comfortable, and incredibly serene. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay both relaxing and memorable. We also enjoyed lovely walks in the surrounding area and had a fantastic meal at the nearby Old Bell Inn. We would absolutely recommend the Delph Donkey to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil getaway, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

The Chalet proved to be a lovely home from home for our 10-night stay. Dan and Jemma are super-friendly and helpful hosts. And the interior design is lovely. We particularly loved the polygraph / bar, record player, amp and record collections - and Jemma’s delicious homemade sourdough loaf! This was a perfect location from which to explore the many delights that Holmfirth has to offer. And yet it’s peaceful enough to enjoy listening to the birdsong / the rain (though there was only a little!). Thanks Dan and Jemma for a lovely stay!

Louise’s lodge is absolutely beautiful and in a very peaceful location. The rooms were absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub is a lovely addition and the fact that it is in the back garden for privacy made it even better. The location of the accommodation is fantastic, around a 30 minute drive to York city centre and also has great bus links to both York and the nearby town of Pocklington. Thank you Louise, we will definitely come back to your lovely lodge!

This place is exactly as described and as per the photos. We had to check in a little later due to a family emergency but it was no problem at all. The lodge was clean and fully equipped with everything needed for a stay. The hot tub was amazing and Donna was really friendly and recommended some great places to visit. A great place to stay and highly recommended!
