Excellent stay at this Airbnb. If you are thinking of coming to St Helen to ride the ORV trails, this is an excellent choice! It’s right down the street from St Helen Motorsports, two gas stations, 3 restaurants, 2 pizza shops and multiple trail head entrances within 2 miles or less!!! The house looks exactly like the pictures and description, and the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, and indoor fireplace were amazing! I will note….it is a bit on the small side. Beds are as described, but feet hang off the bed and rooms are small. 4 grown adults was pushing it here, especially with one bathroom. Also note. There is BARELY enough room for a small truck and trailer to park in front. The other truck had to park underneath the large garage due to no park space. Other than that, which is really just an explanation, it is the ultimate st Helen stop!

We had a really enjoyable stay. Hot tube room with a projector was a highlight of the stay. We had our 2 dogs with us and they enjoyed all the outdoor space.

This stay was exceptional. A perfect place to relax and unwind. The lofted bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was incredibly well appointed, and of course access to a top-of-line hot tub doesn’t hurt. We also loved using the blackstone. The whole cabin was thoughtfully built, decorated and maintained. We loved having a coffee/drink on the upper dock overlooking the river every morning and evening. Easy access to the river. Walking the neighborhood felt akin to a nature reserve. 10/10 stay, we hope to return many times

A wonderful place!! Beautiful and peaceful! We had 8 people and it fit everyone comfortably! Plenty of space for kiddos to run around and play. Perfect for a weekend getaway, highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. The decor was on point. I loved everything about the house. I must know where that comforter in the King room came from 😂 because I fell in love with it. Host were very welcoming and accommodating. I would love to stay again but for a longer stay to enjoy all the amenities.

Me, my wife and dog had the most relaxing couple of day stay. The lake was geogeous, the cabin was cozy, was just what we wanted

We truly enjoyed staying at the Funky Frog, the space was perfect for our needs with our two dogs, backyard, fire pit with wood, the beach was right down the road and we were easily able to take our dogs out for long walks which they loved.

The home was really cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed. The home was very clean and we were able to bring our dog.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was clean, we had everything we needed and we were able to bring our dog which is an added bonus! It was conveniently located close to the highway for easy travel and the early morning views from the patio were beautiful :)

We reserved this Airbnb so we could attend a Celebration of Life for my dear cousin, who had lived in Houghton Lake for over 35 years. He sadly passed away in February of this year. My husband and I have rented through Airbnb for 10 years, but always further north. We were very pleased with the rental and will definitely rent from them again. Love what they are doing to the back yard and can’t wait to come back up and use the fire pit. The home was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated and furnished. We would recommend this renting this home.

Visited St Helen, MI to ride trails with ATV. Trails are great, never ending, lots of friendly other riders, plenty to eat. Woodys Hot Dog stand is amazing!

The cabin was perfect for our stay. Very clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful. The small fenced back yard was ideal.

over great only down side was little area of yard for the dogs but other than extremely great and highly recommend

Had a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful stay at the Fox Den with my fiancé and our dog ❤️. The weather took a bit of a turn but we still made the most of our stay: fishing, walking around nearby trails, cooking on the campfire, reading on the front porch with the birds chirping in the background. When it did start raining, the electric skillet more than met our cooking needs. Overall, we spent the weekend rejuvenating and soaking in the peaceful and natural beauty around us, and the Fox den was perfect for this!

Nice little place to stay. Met all my needs but could use a smart TV so I could watch the Tigers games. lol

We had a great stay! It was peak fall foliage and 70 degrees. The cottage was perfect, nestled right on 3 private acres which made it the perfect child free weekend getaway. We enjoyed the sauna, the fire pit and the sounds of nature. Robin was very responsive and helpful! If you're looking for rest and relaxation I would recommend The Acorn!

we stayed for a 7 days. tried local recommended places from host and everybody was nice. beautiful area to just sit on the deck and enjoy all the wildlife. cabin was neat and clean. everything was as described. comfy cozy cabin away minutes from town. would definitely stay again!

Cabin was very nice. No Wi-Fi as noted in the listing but service was good enough to stay connected.

Cortneys place was very peaceful and beautiful! Plenty of room and a lot of things for the kids to do! It was really nice to have fire wood there and not to have to go find some.

I stayed at Mariann's lake house for a month while working remotely. It was gorgeous. The lake is beautiful and remote. Mariann is an excellent host and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay, which was already provided in the house. I'd recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back!
