The Tarka Suite

We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. Nearest amenities are approx 15 min walk. “The Tarka suite”is made up of 3 seperate rooms plus a covered garden room with electric points. There is a king sized bed, 2 seater sofa, a small dining area and small well equipped kitchen area which includes a std fridge, a ninja twin drawer acti fry and single hob. Crockery, pans and cutlery are provided. Use of hot tub at extra cost.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. A well cared for town house walkable to town. Fantastic location for bars shopping and Barnstaple attractions. Bus station a 5 minute walk & train station 15 minute. An 8 minute drive to the hospital also. It is suitable for four people maximum, the Queen bed splits to make twin beds upon request in the first bedroom. Cosy living room , Dining area and large galley kitchen. Amazing location for exploring Barnstaple & surrounding area.

The Hide - cosy rural cottage

The Hide is a tranquil getaway, tucked into the corner of Lemons Farm, our 15th Century thatched farmhouse. Originally a piggery, the cob and stone building has been converted into a little cottage with a living area, kitchenette, bathroom and mezzanine sleeping area. Fall asleep under the stars and wake to the sound of birdsong. Lemons Farm is located in Atherington, a lovely village with a church, tennis court and park. Some great pubs are nearby as are the gorgeous North Devon beaches.

Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. A spacious and characteristic barn conversion which sleeps up to 8 guests. Set in the Taw Valley over looking Codden Hill, near to Barnstaple and the North Devon beaches. The cottage is set in a rural location, so very peaceful but only a mile off the Barnstaple to Exeter main road so easily accessible to the North Devon coastal areas and Exmoor National Park. The cottage lies in the courtyard of the main thatched farmhouse and is on a working sheep farm.
