This was our second stay in Sarnau and we enjoyed our four nights as much as our first visit. The property is just lovely. In a beautiful location. Peaceful but easy to get to places. It’s extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean and with fabulous hosts where nothing is too much trouble. We find it a great location to do lots in the area and this time we visited the coast twice which is less than an hour away. Highly recommend and we hope to be back.

Had a lovely weekend break at Rosie’s property, the location was excellent just off the Rhyd Ddu path and in a lovely quaint quiet area. The cottage had everything you could ask for and was very clean and tidy, the hot tub being a lovely little touch. Had a really great experience from start to finish, Rosie was very helpful and the instructions provided were excellent. Would recommend to anyone contemplating!

We loved our stay with Nick and Charlotte. They were very helpful and made us feel very at home in beautiful surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub after a long walk in the mountains!

Wow. Danny's place is beautiful inside and out. The hot tub was easy to use and the house was super comfy. Llanberis has everything you'd need and is a great gateway to North Wales. Something to do in all weathers.

Had the best stay, beautiful place Andrew had thought of absolutely everything and more. Everything clean tidy and very comfortable would definately recommend. And to top it all off the hot tub was so relaxing

We stayed with our baby and 3 dogs. Lovely cosy cottage with everything we needed, including high chair and books/toys. Perfect location and beautiful surroundings. Paul was great to chat to and gave good local reccomendations for dog walks, beaches and places to eat. Hot tub was ideal as well!! Would recommend

The area surrounding the cottage is absolutely beautiful - especially when viewed from the hot tub with a glass of wine.

The cottage is everything you could want. Clean and spacious with all you could need and great with secure off road parking and enclosed large garden, perfect for our dog. Comfortable bed and fabulous shower. Easy 15/20 minute walk down into Bala which has all the amenities you need. We will definitely be staying here again.

Sarah was great, she sent through a video to show how to find this wonderfully hidden gem of a place. Location could not have been better for us as we'd planned to use the train for trips out and the station was under 10 mins walk away. Co-op is next to station for provisions and there is a laundrette if you need to get your washing dry before heading home! The cottage was fabulous just as we expected from the listed photos. Barmouth is a great place lots of cafe's, pubs & restaurants to choose from. Parking was not a problem we just paid to leave it in the recommended car park next door for convenience - Rob was lovely. If you are reading this review go on give it a go you will not be disappointed 😉

Absolutely lovely stay at Jacqueline’s - all you could want and need for a peaceful stay a stones throw from the beach

This Airbnb is literally 2 mins from Barmouth’s main street , which offers pubs, coffee shops etc, yet it is very quiet. The beach is about 5/10 mins walk away and you can see it once outside the cottage. There is a Coop and Spar about 5/10 mins walk too. The cottage itself is snug in size, but very cleverly furnished and has everything anyone could need. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and just the perfect base for our four night stay. It has its own parking spot too, which is a huge bonus. Gita was very responsive and all information was super helpful and clear. Cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough. It’s a real gem. Thank you Gita.

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at the cottage. Perfect location for walks and wondering around the local area. Thanks for the instructions Wendy in the guest book they were fab and very helpful.

Rhug was an incredible place to stay, feeling homely with a comfortable vibe and a Welsh feel with everything you could need and more. It catered for 6adults easily plently of space and a wonderful garden with 2seating areas. The area is outstandingly beautiful. The hosts have tried and recommended many places to visit; walks from easy to difficult, places to eat and drink. A visit to the wine shop was recommended and we really enjoyed the winetasting experience. Across the road the bakery is amazing. After 8wks of sunshine it rained whilst we were there, however the house is brilliant for coping; with extra waterproofs, games and great dining area. Even parking is considered and included. This is the best equipped Abnb we have stayed at. Spotlessly clean and has everything, including responsive hosts. Thank you, it made our birthdays and celebrations extra special. Anna has a beautiful barn conversion in the middle of a peaceful valley in Snowdonia. The place was clean and ready for arrival and Anna offered some wood as well for the fire. The beds were very comfy and the place is kitted out with all the utensils and facilities you need. The tap water is from the mountains and the bathrooms are lovely.

We had a lovely time in Criccieth! Edna's place is tranquil and perfectly located for lots of beautiful country and coastal walks. There are a nice variety of places to eat and some excellent local businesses (cafes, shops, sauna, etc). The folks in this small town were super friendly and the weather (cool and bit overcast) was perfect for what we were looking for. We highly recommend Edna's place: comfortable, clean, well-equipped and very peaceful. Edna is an excellent host: she provides excellent information and lots of local guidebooks and maps; she keeps the home in good repair; and knows how to make folks feel at home!

Great comfortable stay lovely accommodation in good location was perfect to take the dog lots of nice outdoor space to have our barbecue

This little cottage was just amazing, In the middle of nowhere but really easy to get to the coast, the vies were out of this world so many walking tracks into the mountains around, the logo fire in the evening was so cosy will defiantly bring the family back

This Airbnb was adorable, cozy and perfect for a few days exploring the Snowdonia and Anglesey areas. It’s central to a lot of the activities in the area. The hosts included thoughtful touches. Would definitely stay again.

Ceri was a great host and made fantastic gluten free bread for us. The bnb was very cosy and right next to the river which was very peaceful. Lots of walks in the town and within a 20min drive. Highly recommend for a quiet weekend getaway surrounded by forests and beautiful hiking trails.

I had a wonderful stay at Talgarth Cottage. It is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean as well as being very cosy and comfortable. The kitchen had thoughtful touches such as tea , coffee, spices, kitchen roll, tea towels and cleaning materials provided and easy to find. Also logs provided for the woodburner. I liked that there was a folder with instructions for the appliances,tv, etc, as well as a piece on how the gardens were made nature friendly. Chris and Ally are warm, superb hosts, I was late arriving thanks to train cancellations , they were very responsive with updates and Chris very kindly came to collect me from the local train station. The cottage is set in very peaceful natural surroundings which are a haven for wildlife, I saw my first badger in the wild, which was amazing and totally unexpected. The views of the mountains from the cottage are incredible, if you love nature and walking it's a perfect place to stay. I loved it and hope to return for a longer stay!

We had an incredible week at Eliza’s cottage with our two dogs. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was a special place. The sunrises were breathtaking, and the night skies were perfect for stargazing — a truly peaceful escape from everyday life. The beautiful cottage was cozy and well-equipped and the large garden was ideal for our dogs, who absolutely loved the space to roam freely. One of the biggest highlights was the endless walking opportunities. Whether straight from the cottage or exploring nearby villages, there was no shortage of scenic routes to enjoy. And the beaches, all within a short drive, were simply stunning — some of the best we’ve visited in the UK. Eliza was a fantastic host—friendly and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to return, and if you're looking for a peaceful, picturesque getaway, this is the perfect spot.
