Wooden top cabin on steel stand perfect for those who want to relax in the treetops and turn off their cell phone and listen to the birds chirping and the wind or total silence in the evening only interrupted by the Cat Owls. Great close contact with birds and fjord views in the winter months. Limited due to leaves on the trees in the summer but short way to walk to great swamps and beach. Here you can also go for walks in the woods or on local peaks or on a day trip to Folgefonna Summer Ski Center. Trolltunga can also be a target if you want to take a long trip.

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. A uniqe, modern house with the most amazing nature just outside the door-step. The house has a view to the forest and river, and has big windows to let in lots of light and most importantly - the nature. The outside area consists of an incredibly beautiful riverside front, with a wooden deck with a log table and benches, fire place by the river and pitoresque seats overlooking the river and forest. The closest town with shops and restaurants are about 10 kms away.

A cozy-rustic cabin with an amazing view

The Airbnb is surounded by fruit trees, peaceful and quiet place with an amazing view on the Hardanger fjord. ( nearest grocery stores are in Granvin or Ulvik, about 20min drive) In the old days the cabin was the maids/girls house, when they came to work on the farm. You can take many wonderful hikes in the area and I highly recommend to use the App UT.no it shows you how far it is, how high, distance, how challenging etc.

The house is in a peaceful setting by the fjord surrounded by grazing animals. You can easily go fishing with the boat, go hiking or enjoy a quiet evening the hot tub. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå or to visit the local climbing park "Klatreparken Høyt og Lavt Nedstrand". It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
