"The blue nest" Solbakken Microhouse

Enjoy the nature and the views you get when you get up to the top of this newly built Microhouse. This is the highest of the two Microhouses in Solbakken, where they are both located in the surroundings of animals and art. Gallery Solbakkestova with its beautiful sculpture garden is located just next to the house. Goats graze in front, and you can see alpacas on the other side. The house is located in a rural area, but is close to the city center and bus. Walking and cycling paths pass by, and the hiking trail up to Liafjellet is close by.

Here you have a short way to great hiking opportunities, as well as good opportunities for swimming and paddling in Sørfjorden. Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balkong facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .

Flåm Retreat's minihouse is a sustainable and exclusive cabin designed by Snøhetta, with a focus on reducing human impact on nature. Enjoy panoramic views of Flåmsdalen, tranquility, and some of the world’s most stunning scenery. The mini-house has two double beds and sleeps four comfortably. A fifth guest can use the sofa bed for NOK 250. From May to September, we require a 2-night minimum stay. Single-night gaps will be released as they become available.
