House vacation rentals in Hammonds Plains

We had 7 people travelling together and this place had all the room and amenities we needed. Big kitchen to cook in, great common area to relax in together and a fabulous view of the lake. It was early in the season so too cold to use the pool but it looked like it would be great. Thanks for having us!

PAM & J.P were extraordinary. We were delighted with our stay and fell in love with Nova Scotia. The animals were an unexpected extra. Gustave is going to miss Maple a lot. Small comment WHICH IS NOT A CRITICISM. The refrigerator is not very big, so don't do too much grocery shopping at once. We arrived with too many things and not everything fit. But again, that's okay. There's a grocery store not far away. It's very easy. Just don't plan too far ahead if you have a big family like mine. The pool is amazing!!!!! Close to lots of beautiful beaches. We had a great time with the family!!!

We had a beautiful stay! The house is more than what we could have imagined. It was clean, fully stocked with everything we needed and very private. The host was very quick to respond and helpful during the check in/out process! We would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed the airbnb. It was very much like being at home. We didn't have any problems. It was close to our venue for my sons wedding. We would consider it again on our next travels to Nova Scotia. Thank you Alex.

Another Great Stay at The Land Yacht! This was our second time staying at The Land Yacht, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. They have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The indoor pool was amazing, and the views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was reading a book in the solarium while listening to the rain—pure bliss. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful setting make this a truly special place. We can’t wait to return again!

We stayed with as a family of 4 for two nights - our 2 little girls loved the comfiness and coziness of Kelly's place - full of fluffy pillows, blankets, and lots of little places to snuggle in. There was a nice big kitchen to cook in, and the hot tub and pool were awesome. We would stay here again :)

The secret beach house was exactly as described and very comfortable. It is surrounded by beautiful beach and peaceful environment. The place has well stocked amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Courtenay is a very gracious host and was able to accommodate our special request. She was very kind to provide the option of early check and late check out. This airbnb has high quality amenities and furnishings throughout. Courtenay is very friendly and responsive. Watching the ducks run through the yard was a pleasure to watch. They are adorable. Would recommend the place to anyone looking for an amazing guest experience.

Nicole’s house was very welcoming and very spacious . She had stocked with a lot of stuff and we didn’t need anything from outside . It was a very cozy and a very clean house . It was a beautiful place exactly as described in the pictures . Nicole was very responsive to my messages . The house was very well kept . The beds were very comfy and even the linens were great . We were very comfortable while sleeping . I would definitely want to stay there again and again !

We had a lovely weekend get away stay. The dome had all the necessities as well as a sauna. Lots of wildlife too.

Matthew is very friendly and extremely helpful. He accommodated our check in needs and was always quick to respond to questions. The house is exactly as shown in pictures. Very clean and pretty decor. Perfect retreat close to lots of walkable amenities! We would definitely stay here again. Loved being able to stay with our pets as well. Would recommend this cute house to anyone in Bedford area!

The home was great for our large family, I really liked the open concept and all the rooms was spacious. The neighborhood was quiet and you where only a few minutes away from grocery stores, parks and other activities for kids. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the Halifax area.

we came for a family visit and enjoyed the maritime setting with a small view of St Margaret's Bay and easy access to the highways. bright, welcoming cottage exactly as advertised. we would recommend this to others.

Extraordinary property with expansive windows overlooking the lake and a stunning deck for enjoying the view. The interior was both comfortable and stylish, with tasteful designer touches throughout. Outside, the gas fire pit and string lights created a magical setting for evening s’mores. Beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The hosts, Vicky and Steve, were responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Note: the steep, unpaved driveway requires AWD—it wasn’t an issue for us and actually added a sense of adventure. There is an alternative place to park vehicles midway for non-AWD vehicles. The only downside was unexpected construction on the lot next door starting Monday, which brought some loud noise. An excavator was moving boulders to clear out space to build a house. Vicky and Steve handled it quickly and graciously with alternative options. Aside from that, the stay was absolutely wonderful.

Perfect location! We were in Halifax for a family wedding, and were able to get around so easily from here. Any free time was spent gazing out at the lake.. a very peaceful and serene retreat

Absolutely loved our stay! The location was peaceful and right on the water with an amazing view. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The host was friendly and responsive. A perfect girls weekend getaway!

From the moment we stepped into this place, and the many times we left and came back, it never stopped feeling like a safe, clean, comfy home. We liked that the oven and dishwasher made cute noises when the timer was up. The bathroom door also made a unique noise when closed, that we enjoyed. The bed was comfy, the pillows not really but we made it work. The carpet under the bed was slippery and we tried to avoid it as much as possible. We'd 100% live here if we could.

Great location, in a quiet area, close to go to HSC and Downtown with public transit, also used Uber to go around. There are a few grocery stores near and restaurants (a few minutes drive). Samuel was courteous and responsive to all my messages and everything described was indeed in the unit.I will definitely stay there another time.

We loved our stay at Tracey and Aahil’s place! It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The backyard was majestic - if only it had of been a bit warmer and sunnier to sit out and enjoy. Hoping we can stay again when we visit the area.

Raquel’s place, “Vista Del Mar,” is absolutely gorgeous!! The open concept of the main level allows for guests to dine and intermingle while enjoying the picturesque view of St. Margaret’s Bay. Raquel was quick to respond to messages and was a pleasure to talk to! A short scenic drive to Peggy’s Cove and Halifax. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone travelling to Nova Scotia. Thank you Raquel for having our group at your place!

Dave’s cottage was cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay! We had the pleasure of seeing two different geese families and lots of ducks and loons, too. Our toddler loved all the toys and books and we enjoyed the gorgeous views and comfortable furnishings. We really appreciate Dave’s hospitality and great communication. All in all it was a visit!
