Vacation rentals with lake access in Hämeenlinna

Wow, what a beautiful location. And such a lovely house. There was a an original sauna on the lake which allowed us a true Finnish experience. Elina was the perfect host. She was always responsive and keen to ensure we had a great time. Anyone booking this place will not be disappointed. We will be returning- maybe when there is snow on the ground. Absolutely wonderful place. My spouse and I had a great time at this place. The apartment is unique and within walking distance of the city center. The apartment was clean and contained everything described. We will definitely come again.

We were in Sysmä for the third time, but this was our first visit in the summer. The yard was summery and beautiful and we had a great time as before.

Nice old farmhouse nearby a lake to swim. Nostalgic, but don't expect too much luxury. It has everything one needs and by car you are safe to get everything nearby. She is a realky excellent host, who helps at nearly any time. Ready to feel at home. Hugs!

The apartment was cozy and well-equipped. Very lush environment; walking/cycling paths and trails near the beach. A parking spot in the yard is a big plus. A decent TV. A large, cozy balcony overlooking the lake. Great location for a dog family. You can go for a run right from the door.

The stay went smoothly from start to finish. We were given good instructions ahead of time and it was evident that we were welcome guests The apartment was as described and the sounds of the road next door only from the knuckle in the background. Two adults and two small dogs had a great time throughout the three-day mini vacation.

It was very nice stay, only stayed for one night but I wish I had more time there. Apartment was exactly as listed and better. Area is close to the water and very beautiful. Venla and Tommi greated us well. Will definitely stay there again if I am in the area again.

Sanna is very caring and always supportive of everything. During the time I stayed there, she and her husband helped me experience the traditional Finnish sauna. What an authentic experience! It's priceless. I really appreciate their hospitality, and they made my first time in Finland wonderful and irreplaceable. So far, I have thought Airbnb is just a platform offering accommodation, but from Sanna's place, it's my first time understanding the real meaning of Airbnb: not another hotel/guest house; it's a real HOME. The place was lovely! Beautiful scenery for idyllic seductive people. Peaceful and private setting! Rowing on the lake was comfortably done on a boat in use. The separate sleeping area was really good and the bed bigger than normal was a big plus. The sleeping area was crowned by an air source heat pump that was well adjusted to a quiet sleeping setting. We slept really well in the listing! The sauna was really neat and atmospheric. The carrying water brought real cottage vibes. The cooking was a great success in a diverse summer kitchen. The home has a large deck and a large covered area where it was nice to hang out, both in the rain and the shine. Our dog was also very comfortable at the property. Communicating with Marko and Marjo was really easy and natural! Messages were always responded to, and everything went so smoothly. We highly recommend this place!

This cute little cottage was equipped with everything needed to cook simple meals and enjoy the time in the nature. We spent beautiful three nights in this peaceful mökki next to the lake. Anja was a great host, and super cool/healthy and bright lady! We were really glad we chose to stay here. Iso kiitos Anja!

Beautiful place, close to nature, you can relax perfectly. Owners are very helpful and nice, they answer every question and are ready to help with solving every problem. Good access from Helsinki and the surrounding area, the house is well equipped. We recommend it warmly and hope that we will come back someday!

Our stay at the lake house was nothing short of magical. The cottage was beautifully maintained, thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed — from a cozy indoor grill perfect for rainy evenings to a traditional wood-fired sauna right by the lake, where time seemed to slow down. We especially loved the peaceful sauna sessions and the serene motorboat rides across the glassy water lake. Waking up to the stillness of the lake, surrounded by nature and with my wife and son beside me, was pure bliss. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay feel even more special. Truly a perfect escape — we'd wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking peace, comfort, and a touch of nature's magic.
