Sotome Port, just a short distance from the accommodation, is my favorite place, where I can truly feel that the island is alive.When I stood on the deck just after 8:00 a.m., a plane from Haneda Airport flew overhead, showing its “belly,” and from the horizon, the Takeshiba-bound Takemaru ferry was making its way toward us.Here, you will find the vibrant, island-specific daily life that you will never tire of looking at, no matter how long you gaze at it. Enjoy Asahino, Shimajushi, and Kusaya, then head out to climb Hachijō Fuji or take a historical walking tour.Sometimes, nature doesn't behave the way humans want it to, but that, too, is the true nature of this island. At night, you are surrounded by a sky full of stars and the sound of the waves, and in winter, you can spot whales from the hot spring.On this island, which showcases the richness of the four seasons, enjoy “island time” to your heart's content, with the same sense of security as if you were back at your parents' house. Please have a relaxing and elegant time surrounded by the great outdoors. You can also see the starry sky from the rooftop deck. ・ We charge 5,000 yen per use for the BBQ grill, charcoal, firewood, etc. (Please contact us for details.
